    the first 20 seconds of this video is so true .....IF working on rusted junk go big or go home..otherwise the med torque is smaller and better in small areas

    I like this review, it shows the limits of what the tool can and can’t do and where it struggles

    Good assessment. I got the gen2 1/2" high torque and the 12v stubby 1/2" and I love the combination. The stubby does 95+% of what I need without the extra 5 pounds and the big boy can get anything else.

    A good vid, this is a versatile impact for most users. I like the way singlecam will push his tools to their limits, not afraid to really put them to the test 👍🏽

    I've seen all these individual videos good job compiling all of them in one! Mid torque for cars and light trucks all the way. All that junkyard crap with heavy duty rust you need the high impact. As you can see the mid torque was able to handle some of those intensley rusted axle nuts. Knowing the limitations of your tools is a good thing it doesn't make the tool weak. The mid torque is a great tool and far beyond weak. It has plenty of power and I was able to take rusted nuts off my latest project.

      Idk man I've been using a 600lb impact for a few months because i thought it would be good for tight spaces. Well, it's good about 90% of the time. But that 10% when i have to get the breaker bar out and do it by hand makes me regret everything. 600lbft seems like a lot, but it's really not that much. I just bought a 1200lb impact because i was tired of not being able to get stuff loose with "only" 600lbs. I don't even work on big stuff, all small newer import cars.

      @@Xixu.co.6 Im planning to buy one of this mid torque wrench so doing my research. Which parts you couldnt loose with the 600lbs?

    • @Xixu.co.6
      @Xixu.co.6 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      SD MTB Lot’s of suspension stuff, over torqued lug nuts, caliper bracket bolts with loctite on them, balancer bolts. Basically any time you look at something and say “fuck I really don’t want to do this by hand” it can’t do it and you end up doing it by hand. The 1200lb gun has saved my ass over and over again

    Perfect for guy working on own car. I have it and did shocks on my truck front and back and no problem. Very seldom do you need the big boy high torque. I'll just use breaker bar. I do want the 3/8 stubby next

    Don't use chrome socket for impact wrench.
    Use black solid impact sockets and you feel the huge difference.

    Good video, answered my questions on the mid torque milwaukee. I had the first version of the milwaukee impact, which is comparable to the mid torque produced today. It was good for about 90 percent of automotive work. Going to buy the new high and mid torque milwaukee now. I wish they would come out with a impact ratchet and 90 degree impact like the IR hammerhead. That would cover just about all of my impact needs.

    Believe it or not using chrome sockets rob torque from impacts. That could be why it won't take off some of the axle nuts.

    I guess I'm having trouble understanding why many people would choose this over the high torque wrench.

    • @AlexMaysonet
      @AlexMaysonet 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because the high torque won’t fit in a lot of places on a passenger vehicle that this will. This will do 85%-90% of what you need on a passenger vehicle and fit most anywhere you need it to.
      The high torque is overkill for a lot of people whether they are DIYers or professional techs. The only reason I have one is because I work on heavy equipment. I haven’t needed it for my personal vehicles or any of the vehicles my customers bring me.

      That IR is amazing! I do alot of my own car work and if didn't need a light and a smaller impact driver I would of bought the IR.
      The IR looked like it did better then the Milwaukee..
      And the IR on paper has less Tq. My Milwaukee removed all blots even with rust it even totally snapped a lug bolt. Can you make more videos Milwaukee? Something just seems to be odd about the one you got.

    • @singlecams
      @singlecams  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      the ir and milwaukee are pretty much same size the ir is a little smaller both were pretty much same power. someone posted that something was wrong with the ir too because it couldn't remove the axle nut but it couldn't do it because it just don't have the power. its not good for that stuff.

    Nice video.
    I’m thinking the 2767, 1000 ft/lbs but not as compact, plus the 2754 compact 3/8 drive at 210 Ft/Lbs might be an ideal combination. Not surprised the mid-torque won’t always remove axle nuts.

    • @Dexion845
      @Dexion845 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ruben Perez it’s only on average $30 more. My issue is I don’t really need 1,400 lb-ft for a Toyota Camry, the high torque is quite hefty compared to the compact size of this one

    • @zack6892
      @zack6892 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The high torque are nice but they are freaking huge and honestly most cases you will not need the torque. Unless you're in a shop most diy mechanics will never need that kind of power.
