    I just let it cool off then set it in my sink, use a good amount of hot water and Dawn Power Boost, let it sit a while and basically rinse and wipe dry. So easy! I love my COSORI Pro 5.8 and just received the COSORI Dual Blaze today. Pretty excited.

    I find that when using the crisper plate, you still need to flip to get even browning. Perhaps for not as long on the flip side. Taking out the crisper plate you have a whole new appliance. No need to flip just use like a pan in the oven except you still have convection cooking in the air fryer with the heat from above.

    I love my Air Fryer too! My boys and I use it daily sometimes. Great for so many things, whether it's just premade frozen things, like meatballs, chicken burgers/nuggets/strips or french fries...but we also use it for the best homemade french fries. Mine is a TFal and it's the 2nd one I have had...my one son I feel ruined our first TFal Air Fryer as he was lazy about cleaning it. This one is a different model (newer) and easier to clean (similar to the Cosori you show here) so hopefully it lasts us for years to come. Take care and thanks for sharing, Cas in ON, Canada 💖

    Just a point to help those who use the dual blaze. Over the pond we tend to use Centigrade rather than Fahrenheit. I could not find a conversion on the control panel. Download the app and use settings to change settings from F. to C. Sadly cannot find this on the Cosori Smart :-(

    Do you have any problems with the fat/residue at the bottom burning/smoking due to the bottom heating element? For example, do you experience any smoking when cooking chicken wings/legs? And does the bottom heating element cause the bottom of the basket to become harder to clean?

    • @CraftySherCupcake
      @CraftySherCupcake  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the late reply Zara! The great thing about the Dual Blaze is that you still have the option of turning the bottom burner off so you don’t have to deal with the problem of burning or smoking if you are cooking something that creates a lot of grease drippings! The bottom of the basket is super smooth and non stick so clean up is supper easy even when something does get cooked onto the bottom! Hope this answers your questions! 😉

      @@marilyn8700 hardly a sacrifice when we are talking one air fryer to the next in the same brand. It’s not like this produces food that is significantly better or can’t be done in a single element air fryer. Might be slightly more convenient, but then that crisper tray looks flimsy and awkward compared to a quick release basket.

    I was on the fence about what model of Cosori to purchase but after viewing this video on the Dual Blaze I know this would be a great fit for me! I do have a question about air fryer bacon. because there is a bottom heater would the bacon grease that drips on bottom start to smoke and burn..I heard other people place 2 slices of bread on bottom basket to catch grease drippings but then wonder if the bread would burn.. would like to know your opinion

    • @CraftySherCupcake
      @CraftySherCupcake  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I have made bacon in mine and didn’t have a problem with smoking, but if you were to I have seen others putting a little water in the bottom as well! I cooked a whole chicken in mine for the first time recently after cooking many in my 5.8L regular Cosori and about half way thru cooking it started to smoke because of the fat drippings, the water trick fixed it! I now know the mistake I made, I had it on the air fry setting which means both elements are on, I should have had it on the roast setting, the lower burner wouldn’t have been as hot! There is a bit of a learning curve with the dual Blaze, but I am enjoying cooking with it! Good luck!

    • @X22GJP
      @X22GJP ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CraftySherCupcake are you sure about the roast setting? I thought the only setting that didn’t use the bottom element was BROIL. All other modes it is on high, at least what I was led to believe anyway.

  • @Lstevens128

    Question: On the LEFT side of the control panel it lists the type of meats. On the RIGHT side it lists the type of cooking. When you initially started cooking the Chicken legs you selected CHICKEN @ 390 for 12 mins then selected start. When you checked It the first time and decided to add more time, 390 was still selected and you added 2 additional minutes. Where I’m confused is when you added the additional 2 minutes CHICKEN was NOT shown selected, But AIR FRY was. It looked like only one of the options could be selected at the same time - either CHICKEN “OR” AIR FRY. Was there two different cooking functions? Did it NOT AIR FRY the first 12 minutes?

    • @davidbelecci6970
      @davidbelecci6970 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It did Air Fry (well, roast) the first 12min. The controls on the left are PRE PROGRAMMED but user adjustable presets regarding to temp / time. So if u cook chicken most often 15min at 380F, you can adjust the Chicken button to do just that every time u press it. You can still adjust before and during cooking like shown in the video. The preset will use the heating method most appropriate for the selected food. For chicken that would be “roast” in manual mode, for fries it would be “airfry”.
      (So you can also choose that yourself by using the controls on the right and skip the presets completely; the Amazon page for the dual blaze has a nice diagram showing the different heat intensity upper/lower element on different settings)

    • @davidbelecci6970
      @davidbelecci6970 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah the reason she did air fry 2 min after the initial program finished ; my guess it is easier since her chicken preset program starts at 20min which would take more time to adjust from this default setting, than using airfry and pressing up once for 2min.

    • @CraftySherCupcake
      @CraftySherCupcake  ปีที่แล้ว

      No you don’t have to have the crisper plate in for the air fryer option to work! It really depends on what you are cooking and what kind of results you want! The air fryer function enables both top and bottom burner to be on so you can do much more than just air fry chicken wings and such on that function, for example beef and veggie stir fry! I love the versatility of this air fryer over the other models! Hope that helps answer your question!😉
