In these videos, many times he says you have to check the answer because it could be an "extraneous solution". I would like him to show us problems where that is the case and what do we do when the solution is extraneous.
He’s too detailed. He gets down in the weeds so far and elementary school student could understand this. If you’re teaching algebra, a basic understanding of elementary math has to be assumed or you’re going to put people to sleep. Three minutes tops to cover this problem, then three more minutes to tout his website.

I like this one... say SQR(r) = A and A² = r
2A / 3 - 3 = A / 2 so bowtie 4A/6 - 3A/6 = 18/6 resulting in A = 18 A² = 18² so r = 324
