Slow start, defence at sixes and sevens at the slightest bit of pressure. No patterns of play, no discernable system. Toothless up front, random freak injuries. RANGERS ARE BACK 🎉
The decisions to not even have Cantwell and Hagi on the bench is baffling to me. Hagi starred in the euros and was one of our best players a couple years back and although Cantwell wants to leave that doesn’t mean he should be left out entirely. I’m a big supporter of Clement but those decisions to exclude them is a huge mistake and very concerning
They're not going to risk Hagi if the talks with Fiorentina are as advanced as rumoured.

I would like to have seen Danilo get a chance when we were chasing the win. Though perhaps there are reasons we don't know or understand. I will trust Phil on that. Dessers will do well for us. I think he will top the scoring charts this season.

Rangers fc will always be famous for been the first team in history to get 50 league titles before any other club did.
There was good team spirit and fight today for the whole game from us. Sharpness up top and in passing will come and we will get stronger. Overall happy to gain a point against a Hearts team who will make it difficult for any team at Tynecastle this season. Our players have a lot more levels in them and they will get there. Hopefully we see Danilo playingnas well soon. 💙 Then we can go on and win this CL and Quintuple treble.

Lucky to finish 3rd, no style of play, Butland error after error, gaffer coming out with Gaff after Gaff, injuries, no Ibrox for how knows long, Tav still captain, Dessers still Dessers, players handing in transfer requests… you get this I could go on all night it’s a shambles! Being positive is one thing being naive or sticking your head in the sand is another.
Ah well, maybe next year.
Barron played brilliant, ashame him and Butland were the only ones that turned up.
It was an absolutely horrific performance from a severely poor team. I’m extremely concerned with the Manager, his tactics, his ethos and his outlook. The whole planning around new signings is crazy and the quality is not good enough. The balance of new players, existing ineffective players, unfit players and repeatedly injured players is shocking. I’ve never felt such a lack of confidence in a Rangers team ever, and that’s saying something. The club is broken from top to bottom, and Clement is imo making it worse. Troubled waters ahead.
That’s 9 games in a row without a win. This man just does not learn. Play Davies, Wright, and Dessers and we will always struggle. We should get used to this crap. We will get pumped on Tuesday, and I fully expect Motherwell to take points off us next weekend too. Not good enough

Our fans losing the nut over this game are deluded tbh. Hearts may actually have a better squad than us right now. They’ve improved their 11 AND their bench, we started with 10/11 players from last season. I’ll judge when our signings are in. This isn’t a season we will be competing for the title. It’s a rebuild season.
I hope they surprise me but I won’t be providing knee jerk reactions this early on

We all know Cantwell has his problems but a Souness or Smith would have sorted him out by now. This clown has no man management skills , he even had a go at Barron yesterday and he was our best player.
Cantwell is by far our best player and would have made a huge difference yesterday , I personally hope this manager is gone before he quits the club.

good game cant judge teams until 5 games in to the season but both teams looked good Taylor for hearts looks like he will cause all teams problems.
Lawrence just keeps getting better and Ridvan played well, Dessers was unlucky that hearts Centre back Rowles played an outstanding game was always going to be a tough game.
i hope they are consistent with the handball as for me based on refs from last season hearts were denied a penalty.
In 5 games time we will be 5 points behind Celtic and sitting comfortably in the bottom half of the league. Wake up

Exactly mate. Murray got much of this fanbase hooked like a drug on outspending Celtic. If we had a bad season we could literally rip it up and buy our way back to the top at that point. Obviously there were consequences to doing that as we all know and we paid the price ultimately for Murrays fantasy football and mismanagement of our finances.
They are measuring a board and manager by the same yardstick that was used to gauge when we had World Class options a plenty.
Those days are gone. Great memories for many but they are over. We need to get good with where we are. Accept it. Then build something together from it to be proud of. Big Phil is willing to do the years and hard graft along with the board. That's what his new contract represents. There is a vision behind the scenes and people giving it everything for us. I trust that. Players will be added before the close of business and some might still leave, but regardless I trust that everyone will give their all for the cause.
I don't care if it takes 2 or 3 seasons to fully come together. It may be quicker, hopefully it does happen, but if we want to be 'Simply the best team in Scotland,' we have to meet the club halfway and become 'Simply the best,' support in Scotland. We need to encourage and build players up and back them even more after mistakes or poorer performance. We can build or destroy, we can't do both. I choose build.

I hope we can get first this year. It's early doors. We don't have the kind of money to buy success so it may take a few seasons to turn into a side capable of winning but you never know it might happen sooner with some luck. Anything can happen. If we stay supportive and encouraging and really get behind these players through thick and thin, with some additions to come, I think we will come good. I have faith in Clement and our lads. They have more to give in terms of ability as well. They will get stronger and sharper over the next few weeks. The. Once really up and running the CL is ours.

He wants the ball on the ground, direct passing and more movement from players who should be wanting the ball.
Sadly, many of these players signed by Gerrard, Gio and Beale do not offer any of that.
It is what Clement has meant by the players being "static" and "not confident' on the ball etc.
Too many are used to kick and rush from Gerrard, playing out wide and cross in under Gio (who suffered from the same problems as Clement) and then ripped up again with Beale.
It is a big mess that requires a lot of work BUT we all knew that last season.
@@jacksonbow2766this is absolutely garbage patter. The best football we have arguably ever played was under Gerrard against the likes of Porto, Antwerp etc.
The passing, the link play, the movement, it was incredible. Clement’s football is diabolical and he doesn’t want us playing progressive football. He’s trying to play Stoke football at Rangers.
