i think a more optimised version that doesnt really emulate/consider those finer details would work as it isn't exactly smooth to run in a 3d environment

You should create a tuning slider that gradients between the fine tune drift car and the fine tune race car, leaving it up to the player to decide how they want to drive the track.

Hey mate! I've been playing racing games most of my adult life. Drifting is one of my favourite game modes in most sims. Of everything I've played, in my opinion the absolute best possible drift implementation (including all aspects; car feel, handling, control, available settings (options) etc...) is surprisingly The Crew 2. They freaking nailed it. Including the options, anywhere from full assist to where you have to control your own over / understeer. If you want a cracking reference for drift feel, I highly recommend playing around with TC2 to see what you reckon.

Another suggestion I thought of while watching this video was that for the track builder you could turn off the grid like in poly bridge or something along those lines as it would allow players to create even better and more intricate tracks. Like I said this is just a suggestion and I don't know how difficult this is but keep up the good work!
Here are some ideas. Make the amount of tiresmoke relativ to the difference of speed the tires have to the car. Smokeamount = (TireRPM - Carspeed) x particle dencety. Make the pitch of the tires screaching relativ to the motors RPM. Make the parts in the custom course designer stretchable, so that we can have long streching curves and curves that open up and close in radiey. This is something that Track Mania sadly doesn't have.

I wanted to try the game when you launched it but I realised that you can't change the keybinds and it makes it really hard to play with wasd keybinds instead of zqsd keybinds (french keybinds) so it would be nice if you could add a feature to change the keybinds! Also you did a very good job and your vids are always very good and entertaining to watch. Keep up the good work. 💪

For drifting, consider adding a points system to compete in like in forza horizon games. I think that would be cool and add a competition factor like the time in racing.
there could be 4 point systems 1 for time 2 for drift 3 for air and 4 being the total so you could compete in who can jump the higher, who can drift the longest, whos the quickest and who is the stunt master
i loved the bouncing after a landing a jump so you had to maybe learn how to set up for the jump to land as smoothly as possible. i feel like the bounce is a good addition to the game, and instead of removing it, you can add a mechanic that can make it smoother if you land it this and this way
Maybe you can try to make an ice mode for those looking to have an extra fun challenge, where the track or your tires are made out of ice, game looks great btw!
idea: this would be hard to do but maybe add a leaderboard and add option to have a ghost(s) appear thats from someone right above you on the leaderboard so it feels like a race
Instead of a repetitive higher pitched tire squeal I'd recommend just engine noise like you mentioned to prevent it being annoying. Tire squeal in a game like what's shown would get very tiring to hear
You should try to add some of these: Open world map Manual transmission Weather sandstorms or snow You should add a little more details to the background like a big kraken or somin 🙏❤️
I think that if you use air brake like in trackmania that would help so much with leveling out the car in the air to stop the back from bouncing up. Gives more of a skill level to playing the game
Man i wish i could play apex rush looks so fun i cant cause i dont have a pc if u were to make so u can play it on any platform i will playing apex rush till im the best at the game
I just got this like 5 hours ago and me and my friend have been racing down to a 2.3X our first goal was under 4 minutes but then I got one hell of a run and got a 2.42.8 which stood for 3 hours until my friend got a 2.41.6 then 1 hour later I got a 2.37 without the second checkpoint respawn trick some of the most fun I have had recently
The current game without drifting is great! I do have one complaint tho. When you go into the huge loop it will put you in first person, and when you mess up and get flung out, it spins you a lot, and since I was in forced first person, I threw up due to motion sickness. (mind you I play apex legends so i dont usually do that)
Maybe add a track sharing feature so players can use tracks made by the game's community like an in-game track selector or something so if you wanted to play ona different track and don't want to build one you can find one you like from the track selection thing and play it without the trouble of searching up ideas for one and having to go off of something online and recreate it. I know it would likely be alot of work but it would probably be something for a later update that people would maybe enjoy.1
you could just make tire get no traction and lose its control so people can counter steer it. the weight of a car matters for traction too so this can help with power settings. if you combine both forza and gran turismo tuning settings system, youll attract alot more people but make sure to add clutch input and changing gears with bindable keys too. Cosmetic tuning with upgrades system is planned! Mechanical tuning I'm not sure yet, still something I need to look into!
You should make a city map something for just exploring and maybe have some street races
you can make an air brake system like trackmania to land steady on the track

you probably want to detect the vehicle "in air" and shift the center of mass until back on all 4 wheels on ground
