I'm just learning chess but I don't understand what happened (glitch?) at the 9:02 mark in the video. Black pawn takes g5 to check white king on f4. Then white pawn on h5 moves to g6 taking out the black pawn on g5. Am I losing my mind?
I see the confusion, This is a legal move called.em passant, if a opponent moves their pawn 2 squares for its first move and passes one of your pawns you can take it with en passant, Basically as if it had only moved one square, this move was added because moving the pawns 2 squares was added.too speed up the game, and it gives people the ability too challenge the pawn.. hope.this makes since..

This would have forced Alireza into a trade of knights, therefore removing one key defender of the other (trapped) knight and thence paving the way for the final slaughter of such second knight after some manoevring of the light square bishop. Is there some mistake in this idea?
