    Thank you , your video is very helpful. harder exercises will need some practice, but your video helps me understand the topic more than a superficial level and than just applying formulas. I can do most exercises right away after understanding from your video.

    At 7:50 everyone emphasizes that we need (n-1) lots of the difference to get to the total sum of the nth term. Is the significance of "-1" in (n-1) because the first term in the AP (namely, a) has no common difference attached to it?

      If I understood you correctly, yes.
      I think its better to think about it as the first term " a " as HAVING a common difference " d " attached to it, but that difference has a coefficient of 0. So term " a " would actually be " a + 0d ". Adding even more, you could think of it as " 1a + 0d ". When you see it this way it becomes clear that " d " has a coefficient 1 unit less than that from "a".

    The numbers 1, 4, 16 can be three terms (not necessarily consecutive) of no A.P. only on G.P. infinite number o A.P.'s infinite number of G.P.'s.??????
