I went for a test drive in the exclusive and found the Infotainment screen laggy, while the car was comfortable to drive it was the deciding factor that made me go for the Niro instead plus the Niro is brilliant on mpg .
I wish that i would be somehow, able to go through a tree of folders under the USB option and choose a song of my liking. Unfortunately its not possible on the MG ZS EV.When the USB is plugged, its a list of 3000 songs and the trouble is now for the owner of the vehicle to make to select his song from the haystack!. Hope MG ZS infotainment people rectify this error through an update. Thanks.
Hi fellow owners Having purchased The MG HS Excite 2023 model I am at a loss as how to get the DAB radio setting. On the main infotainment screen it has FM and AM but the DAB is ghosted in dark grey....Am I to believe this Excite model has No DAB Radio? And if so it's a poor show not having a DAB setting on a year old car, surley these should come as a standard setting? Any info greatly appreciated.
I could be wrong, but I don't it offers that function. I've certainly never seen it on any of the MGs I've tested, but like I say, I could be wrong. Thank you for watching.
@@CarObsession Thanks for replying. we had the exclusive model for a while & that one had it but we can't find it on this model? maybe it's a price inclusion? or it might be because the dab chip wasn't factory installed?... it was added to the window after & uses USB connection. Thanks again.
72 plate HS infotainment screen makes everything laggy including android auto Google maps, amount of times nearly missed junctions because screen can't keep up on your location. Was unlucky to get one without the DAB chip and have cheap adapter fitted which cannot use as has to have glovebox open for it to reach the usb to get its power. When you do use it there is no channel info and can't save any stations. FM on it is just as bad with NO RDS functionality so cannot see which station you are listening to which you would expect back in the 1980's NOT 2023.
MG is litteraly taking the piss of british customers with the Trophy petrol only, top specs options.... No 2L engines available, no auto-sunroof, no fog lights, no other colors for interior (only black & red). Honestly..... Good value for money, but is Rubbish in compare to same Trophy from Asia or other countries..... Also the so called infotainment system is trash! If MG didn't ad one at all and allow customers to attach their own tablet (ex: Samsung Galaxy S8 Ultra) would have been amazing! But nooo, MG needs to do what China and british government wants now.... Very very dissapinted......
Have the 72 hs trophy. The worst infotainment system. Slow, hard to use, rubbish maps, no real DAB , android auto takes forever to connect if at all. The biggest let down of what could have been a good car.
this is the worst car I have ever had the misfortune to sit in let along drive ... its actually a dangerous car not fit for propose.. the radio and sat nav are just rubbish ...

It’s annoying the music system doesn’t say the name of each song that is playing & artist. Can we show this? I assume no?
