Nice haul. I am amazed to see the commonality of popular culture. If you had not said this was abroad, I would have never guessed, based on the collectibles, that you were in Europe.
Wow dude, such an incredible vintage offering at this con! It's crazy how many large boxed items the vendors brought with them. I've found myself drawn to Kenner's Bone Age line as well, the Skeletal Dino figures look awesome, and even the human figures look cool, especially with that sweet card art 👌
That comic con looks very cool. Can you put up details of how to get to it. Airport, train, bus etc. Which would be the best way to get to the venue for us international fans 😁
Dude that’d be brussels airport, then take the train to brussels north and then its a 10 minute walk to the venue. The website has detailed info on this tough
@@EdsRetroGeekOut much appreciated. I may try make it over for next years con. Cons here don't have stock like that at all. Mostly it's just local stores selling their wares at con prices.
@Ed's Retro Geek Out I may have had a male connector end snap off once, but from what I remember, they were built well. I may have been rough with them, hence the break. Loved the sets though! It's awesome that you're seeing them now. Brings back so many good memories. 👍
A Tiger force Skystriker (15:13 - 15:15), that's a pretty cool custom Joe vehicle. About two weeks ago Michael from Retroblasting made video about this and other custom Joe verhicles and now I see one popping up at the Brussel Con, Cool.
I like your Dino Riders shirt. I found my Dino Riders lunchbox a few months ago in my parents' attic with lots of other stuff. Love your enthusiasm and toy history!
I always wanted the Bone Age toys when I was a kid. I had a Kenner catalogue that came with another toy, and I remember staring at those toys all the time. It seems like such a home run of an idea, but I don't remember seeing them in stores and I don't think the series actually did too well. Maybe because it was one of the few 80s toy lines that didn't have a TV show or any other tie-in media?
So glad I came across this video. It was really cool to watch. I'm not going to lie, I lowkey want the two Bill and Ted figures (Abraham and was the second Gengis Khan?) I don't know how much they're worth but I know Bill and Ted stuff is so hard to find over here so I'm assuming they're pricey. But yeah. Thank you for the video. I really enjoyed it. I hope you're well and look forward to watching more!
Another awesome show Ed you just loading up on Ninja Turtles finding the crazy pieces I do He-Man myself and have a safe trip and I'll see you again at Kane County Toy Fair
I love Bone Age but a quick word of warning, the dinosaurs have tabs that are extremely brittle and easy to break. If you get any Dino’s I’d definitely suggest you get them brand new. It was a great toy line that was ahead of its time, but pretty fragile.
I’ve been trying to find out more about them it looks really cool in the commercial where they combine em so i guess the way to go is to get them new in box 😅
Super nice report! If someone is interested, my status was minute 16.43-19.44 to see with TMNT Playset Sewer, Technodrome, Thunder Thrasher, Dragon Lord, Star Trek Troi Germany Edition. If someone is interested, just get in touch.
at 15:50 if that leo thing does not talk if you touch the 2 metal buttons, does it open up? could it be a shoelace holder. They had those heads that opened up, and then you clipped or put on shoelaces back in the 80s/early 90s.
Those Go-Bot model were an interesting mish-mash of licenses. They took transforming model kits from various Japanese series and recolored them to loosely resemble Go-Bots characters. Cy-KIll and Leader-One, for example, were originally the motorcycle and jet from Genesis Climber Mospeada (aka Robotech the New Generation)
@@keepitmintinmind I'd probably keep it sealed, unless you're either a hardcore model-builder or someone who wants a piece out for display. I had a kit from the line back when they came out about 40 years ago and their construction wasn't the most solid.

Dude you should get some Red Barron french bread pizza and bake them in that turtle oven and make a video. I would love to see that. You got to use it bro! 🤘😁👍
Hey Ed- have you ever gotten figures that showed plastic degradation?? As in they were sticky figures. If so please share how you fix them or if you have fixed them.

I loved my Bone Age sets. Sets were interchangable, and the pieces were made with quality too. Not cheap plastic either. Each piece had weight to it.
I heard the plastic does break easily?
