Good practice to take a 15 minute break after every 2 hours of driving. Get out of the car, strtech your legs, back, arms, check your phone and take a short walk. Coffee is a good drink to keep you alert. If you feel sleepy then pull over and have a short nap.

I think you don't know what is "GT Road". You were travelling on "National Highway". GT Road goes from Lahore (starts from Dhaka and/or India) to Peshawer.
