Dane. Thanks for the good videos. I'm the old guy (67 yrs. old from Coatesville, Pa.) that you met at the Coaches Clinic in Columbus, Ohio. Your "Ethos" is spot on with what I am teaching my Junior High Throwers. Keep up the great work my friend and I am glad that the "Road to Nowhere" 😅 finally goes. Somewhere.... to your Garage!
22 years ago I could have used this! I threw glide and I was around 53 feet. I always wanted to spin but it seemed out of reach. Which is weird because I threw discus too out at about 150. I love watching these videos and I appreciate the time and effort you guys put in for my favorite sport of all time! Much love from SC!
what you're doing for the global throws community is huge! love the content and your efforts to get folks excited about throwing, keep up the great work!
That's a whole lot of words! How about 4 words? John Smith of Ole Miss: turn - step - turn - throw Or Ryan Crouser: turn - sweep - pivot - throw I've used turn step turn throw with my throwers, but I came across Crouser's version in a video and tucked it away for future use as well.
I've been doing discus for about 5 years and my best is 150' (I'm 5'4 and 19) which seems really far but compared to some of the other girls throwing that's nothing. Being as short as I am I can't take a long swing into the step (If that makes sense) because we were expected to know how to do that. This video really helped me. Unfortunately a lot of D1 colleges are like that. Thanks for this awesome video!!
I’m going to try this, i’ll practice until track season then i’ll finally get to practice in the circle. My record for shot is 26 feet idle and my record for discus is 70 feet idle. That was my first year
This sounds like it will help me a lot! As a sound guy, please clip that mic to your shirt st your chest. When you talk into a lav mic like that it doesnt sound right.

Very helpful 👌

What’s the benefit of having the right foot ground before the middle of the ring?
Will you be releasing 30 days to the discus spin?
With some minor adjustments you can very easily convert the spin into discus
O good super 😮😊😊

workdone = ( his force × 2 pi r ) sin 35.

👍
10 000 hours of throwing… that’s many years even if you throw 10 hours weekly
It would be a yearish if you had 10 hours a week I think... don't quote me on that
