It was nice. I would imagine the pool doesn't draw huge crowds in the summer because it doen't make sense to take a beach vacation and then just sit at the pool. But when we went, with the weather starting to turn cooler in the fall, the heated pool felt much better than the ocean. Thanks for taking the time to watch our video!
We stayed here last weekend, hotel was nice and the views were great, unfortunately we showed up during a cold front and it was around 40 degrees as the high for the day with 50 mph winds. It was chilly! But still had a great time walking around and hanging out at the bar at Waterman's just a few doors down!
we stayed here in early august.. im pretty sure we had the same room 231 lol. the ocean front balcony was our favorite part too and my daughter LOVED the heated pool. we spent alot of time at the pool soaking up the sun but also enjoyed walking the boardwalk, collecting shells and going on boat tours. the one downside is no breakfast at the hotel but we stocked up on groceries to keep in the room so it was alright in the end

The room had a bit of age but looked real clean. Honestly, I'd be facing the other direction looking at that ocean and beach view. The pool is big. Beautiful playground. Price is amazing! I'd be fine with a little dated for that incredible price with an ocean view. Great video.
You are right - the price was excellent for a room with such a great view! It is more expensive in June, July and August. But even during those peak months, it is one of the best deals on Virginia Beach oceanfront compared to the prices at other, more modern hotels. Thanks so much for watching our video!
We are not vacation unpackers either! If we are staying in the same place like 10 nights or more, we would - but that is rare. Most of our trips are 3 or 4 nights. And even most long trips are only a week. So everything stays in our bags too most of the time! It seems like a waste to unpack like you are living at such a temporary residence. I like how you show your hotels in your videos. Something that would apply to a family like us. Charging station is always a plus - surprised not many more hotels do it. You aren't too far away from Virginia Beach. You should definitely check it out one day if you like beaches... though the Outer Banks are even closer to you and that is an amazing beach resort area too! Thanks so much for watching our video!

We stay here every year, it's the 1st hotel on the quiet end of boardwalk, it's simple and fairly inexpensive compared to other hotels around. We always get the deluxe room with 2 double beds and a hot tub, kitchenette that includes plates cups and silverware, a toaster microwave and fridge. The view is great from the ocean front rooms you get a great view of the beach and inlet. There's not a lot of businesses on this end so it's peaceful, if you like to be around a lot of people, entertainment, excitement and all the tourists business you don't want this end of the boardwalk. But there are trolleys if you want to visit the busy end. ALSO FREE PARKING and the parking lot is on the premises. There's also pool.
Agreed... it is a nice hotel at a good price compared to many others. We have stayed here a couple times and had great ocean views and no problems whatsoever. We definitely recommend this place for people looking for a good price. We haven't gotten the deluxe room with the hot tub yet but would love to try that out.
