SV650 evening ride

The past week has been so hot and humid that I decided an evening ride would cool us off, I took my usual 3 counties ride so I could compare the SV650 to the XBR the difference in fuel consumption is an eye opener and the comfort level is a blessing 🙂 I thought a Friday evening in tourist season the roads would be busy, I couldnt be further from the truth, saw more cows than cars, had a lovely stop for a pot of tea at the Horse and Groom in Woodgreen SP6 2AS only £3 a pot and got 2 1/2 cups from it, the ride back was amazing no cars !

Haha :) Tea is an important factor. Got about 55 mpg The XBR gets me about 35 mpg on a good day. I still have the XBR for shows and events, the next big one is the Kickback custom show at the Sammy Miller motorcycle museum on 8th September This is my day to day bike for longer trips out and about

@JOOLZNED Not bad, 55mpg. Nearly finished my W650 - tinkering in a Bratstyle and will probably sell to get an old Guzzi. Ever had one?

@@mattcc6603 W650's are nice bikes, no never had a Guzzi a mate has one and he recons its a great bike
