The banner behind Aaron, "That others may live," reminds me of the archangel Gabriel. I have so much respect for you guys, PJs and all air force special warfare service men and women. You guys do the hard thing and are doing Gods work ❤ oops, Archangel Raphael, not Gabriel. I mix them up sometimes.
Usually you get 2 at a time, one shot and a ‘refire’. After that, you’ll have to do another job, and that’s only if the cadre recommend to keep you. Crosstraining that remains pretty true. So, you can fail once, do another job, and come back and try as a cross trainer and get two shots (possibly) at it. Like me- I graduated on the 4th total Indoc team I tried.
Any advice for someone thinking about cross training but doesn’t want to pull the trigger quite yet due to a reoccurring injury and doesn’t want to slow the team down for, especially as an NCO?
I mean- when is your injury going to be "healed" enough? When is the "perfect time"? Everyone is hurt. Everyone has life get in the way. Everyone can make an excuse to wait. We can't tell you when you're "ready" because we didn't know if we were going to make it, either. We just went (except Trent he didn't graduate Indoc.)
You're going to have the recurring injury bite you during the pipeline. As well as others like overuse-syndrome injuries such as tendonitis and bursitis and others etc...ad nauseum. Part of the gut-check during the pipeline is dealing with those issues that happen. Staying in the fight and being set back into another team and rolling with those punches is the lesson here. Hey, can I get that one-liter workout water bottle with "Cone" and a OnesReady logo on it we talked about earlier? Asking for a friend... XD
@@OnesReady I'm sorry I asked this Q under multiple episodes. Some AF mom said she had watched something a month ago. Maybe she was referring to something else. Again, apologies.
I’m sure this question has been asked a million times (sorry trent 🗣️) but what’s some jobs that you guys would’ve done had it not been SR or Pararescue. I’m going to meps soon and have a few jobs including Pararescue, but I would like to hear what you guys were interested in.
I initially wanted to be a linguist. Thought wx was kinda cool. Since then I’ve always thought being a dog handler would be pretty rad. Anything but SERE 🤣🤣 -T
Yeah 100% man. Just start your cycle about 4 weeks prior (in SWCC). You have to let cadre know on the first day of class- just bring your stack with you to inprocessing, the cadre will log it and take it from there! - A
Can you clarify what you mean? It’s super easy to get a bus (base trans) whenever you want; you just call ops (usually) and ask. They even have drivers, and they’re awesome at support. Hope we helped! -A
Appreciate the reccos! Looking forward to that upcoming episode.
No worries dude keep crushing it. Let us know if you need anything. - A
Lol george Washington stacked bodies over a 3% tax. Fukn legend
48:17 I think you should do a podcast where it’s Trent in a room by himself reacting to all of Aaron’s mistakes
For half the podcast, then he can spend the second half crushin' on A with his whole heart.

@@OK-otic I’m particular to Michael, more of a warrior. But agree.
how many times can i try out for special warfare before i’m told to hit the road? i hear the attrition rate is pretty high.

Where is the episode that talks about indoc model for 2024???
It’s not out yet. Quit spamming the page.

@@LisaSmith-kj9xk It’s all good! We always try and reply to comments/questions, but some days we get quite a few!
Can you guys do an episode with Christian Craighead? I think that would be great!
It totally would be! Do you know him?
Just from reading about his heroics in Nairobi. He was on Shawn Ryan’s podcast. Really cool dude!
I saw a post saying that April is going to be the last A&S class and indoc will make a return. Any credibility to this? To your knowledge?
What post? Can you link it? - A

@@OnesReady thanks for reminding me about dog handling, I forgot that was a job.
Could I take steroids and Peptides while in selection?

How do you deal with all the gay trans BS in the AF?

@@OnesReady lol. Glad y’all have the trans problem all figured out.
@@jetskiordie7976 yeah not that tough really. Just gotta be good at logistics planning and forecast troop movement needs. Basic stuff.
