I know it is the same for both teams but i don't think a penalty shoot out is the right way to decide a drawn game. It's not English Football and the Goalkeeper dances about like the games here. If it's a draw the game should be replayed.
Penalties are a part of GAA in both codes however. They're awarded in normal time for a serious foul so it's a legitimate way to end a draw after extra time in my opinion. It is a skill footballers should be practicing
@@EverGreen1888 It hasn't always been like that has it ? I'm sure when i lived in Kerry during the 80s the match was always replayed. I lost touch a bit when channel 4 stopped showing the matches.
When you see the soccer penalty takers from 10 metres into a bigger goalmouth , that was serious penalty taking from the Galway lads
Well said, it was indeed.
Joyce had them practicing pens since November and it showed
Best match I've ever watched in my life
great game, galway were better prepared , good team
I was behind the goal that day
Armagh went to penalties again this year and made a balls of it again
Certainly better peons than any England team of the last 40 years

@@JohnnyPeacock1959 Ever since 2019 I think they changed it so there's extra time and penalties
Penalties are bad for GAA
Should be who makes the next score with throw in by ref. In middle of pitch
Ah bollocks that was some game. Sure take out the goals then by that logic
Best way to decide it.
No they are not
Salty Armagh supporter
We need to sign the Armagh keeper...Our goalie's parents must be from Armagh...?
If you play for a club in Armagh as goalkeeper your coaches can send a request to get you a chance into the county team
Get rid of penalty shootout.
It does not belong in GAA
May get rid of the goals then
Lol!
people most have plenty money so 2 fork out more money for tickets accommodation .travelling expensives lol....so alot of money supporters most have 😂
That’s a pisser.
pens shouldn't be in gaa
So by that logic neither should goals
@@MARIUS2776 Why would a lack of penalties mean no goals? Stupid argument
Bull shit
They are in normal time so it's a legitimate way to decide the game after a stalemate
