You win the biggest catch sir. Watta big bull trout. Grabe ang laban. Yet released. Congrats to both of you sir. Its not the one who wins. But the bonding that creates memories. Love you both.
What a awesome day. Lucky to get great weather, it's been so miserable this spring. I'll have to add some of those brads to my kit, anyone stocking those locally? Congratulations on that bully. 👏
Yep! Barry's bait and tackle! I'll make a vid on how tie this set up. Definitely a must have in the tackle box. Thanks for watching and see u on the next adventure. Lol on the 10th fish too😂
Watching from aurora philippines 🤙🤙 New subscriber. Mega shout out idol. Ganda ng fishing gear/set up. All set na. Completo rekado. Ganto ang gusto ko😁
Hey thanks for watching! It all depends where you're at. Most of our fish on this trip was caught in deep water. 200 plus feet if I recall. Most of our fish was caught at 90 ft below surface. I adapted my depths depending on what I saw on the fish finder. Hope that answers ur question. This lake has some really deep spots! Some places 350ft plus if I remember it right. Thanks for commenting. Hope to see you on the next adventure. Please like and subscribe if you haven't yet. Also running a giveaway on my latest video. You should watch the vid and enter. Good luck! 😊
Thank you for your reply. Iam planning to try Alouette lake this weekend, so if my depth finder shows 100', downrigger should be about 90' ? Sorry for stupid questions, I am beginner)
The idea is to follow the fish. You will see fish marks on your fish finder as you troll along. You also don't want to be so close to the bottom that you snag and lose gear. I suggest to join my FB fishing group. There's lots of anglers there willing to help and bounce ideas from. facebook.com/groups/410529470508902/?ref=share See you there!😊
Unfortunately, kokanee doesn't get very big on this lake. I've never caught a rainbow from here. I do like the occasional cutthroat. They get to decent size here, I've made a couple of other Alouette videos. If you check those out, you'd see they get up to 19 to 21 inches. As well, catch a release bull trout, which is a nice surprise. Thanks for watching!
@@bbtvfishingismyhappyplace do you mean cutthroat trout is abundant in Alouette lake? Are you saying cut throat trout is ok to keep but any bull trout are supposed to be released and can not be kept? I do know that the Kokanee are from the hatchery , but unfortunately Alouette is the only location I am aware that has the Kokanee , I would like to see them stocked at cultus lake too.
@flyinphil42 Have you read up on the regs? As per region 2 fishing synopsis. BULLTROUT has no retention on Alouette. There is retention for Cutthroat and kokanee. There are a few other lakes that have kokanee in region 2. Hicks, Jones, Cultus, Kawkawa, and Alouette are a few on the top of my head. Trophy sizes will be in Merritt or Highway 24. Hope that helps you out. Definitely check out the synopsis online. Tightlines!

Good catch! Just a question, how many feet between your downriggers and bottom of the lake?

@@bbtvfishingismyhappyplace Welcome much sir
A little disappointing the Kokanee look so small, just like the hatchery rainbow trout
