Would never say it wouldn't work but in this case the fish were holding pretty tight to the structure. Using the long poles worked best for us. I do like casting much better. Way too fun
I said we were using Berkley Powerbaits and for this day it really didn't matter. Chartreuse color in any bait was fine. The water was muddy and they were pre-spawn. Doug at In-Fishermen is a great guy and does his show extremely well. I have actually submitted shows for Midwest Outdoors to air. Great guys and a great show indeed.
