He is a true cube master! They should start the time when the cube is revealed. Might make it more challenging. He is mentally solving it before the time even starts.
well i mean if you think about it, if you want to be really fast you need to actually work hard and practice for it. If you dont practice, you dont want to be better.

Well the records that are broken are always lucky scrambles so yeah some scrambles are easier than other ones

Most put more importance on average solve time on a series of solves for this reason.
