November in northern Canada, can sometimes be very, very cold in saskatchewan. Its legal to bait and ninety nine percent of the outfitters use this system sitting and watching bait piles, not everywhere in canada, is like that
Hunting or shooting.... I know many people shot deer from a blind... I have only one leg, and I still get out in the woods and hunt...I guess sitting in a blind watching a bait pile...for myself only....I call that "shooting" not Hunting...sorry if you're offended by my comment
@original4440 sorry to have hurt your feelings... I honestly don't think my comments were insulting...perhaps you felt that way... Really what is your thoughts on shooting from a blind over a bait pile vrs hiking into the woods ...tracking, studying...learning how different ways of harvesting animals might be more practical
@@Mooseracks first off you didn’t hurt my feelings. There was just no need for your comment. I’ve been bow hunting for over 50 years. I could make the same kind of argument by saying if you shoot something with a rifle you’re really not hunting. As far as baiting and hunting out of a ground blind, I have no issue with that. It’s not my preferred way to hunt, but I have absolutely no issue as long as it’s legal. Did you watch the video and see where this young man passed up an opportunity to shoot a big buck, but because it was past legal shooting time he didn’t. To me that shows character and I’d rather see that than worry about the way that he’s hunting. Besides in today’s society, I’d much rather see these young people getting out and enjoying the great outdoors. Just my two cents.
@original4440 100% with you on many subjects you shared... me too, I've been hunting for 55 years...and what's interesting is my understanding and thoughts on hunting... All the best, and thank you for sharing opinions.... I'd rather this that someone reporting me...then I'm censored... cheers 🍻
@original4440 th-cam.com/video/1cW4up1Nscw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kYv9p2K3xmAU2fVf This would be typical of my hunting style....for deer that is... moose similar...but I do more calling for moose... lol often I WILL HAVE 2 or 3 bull moose coming towards me at the some time... exciting I tell yah... yah, my brother, myself and my dad harvested a lot of moose over the years

Are there restrictions on how much bait can be out?
Yes there is. This was illegal
Box blinds are not hunting

You’re entitled to your opinion. But why would you come on here and be so insulting. If it’s legal then who cares?
