Every time they go a few weeks without an upload, I worry this series is ending and I get extremely sad. I know this series can't make much money given how few people watch it, but keep dropping merch and I'll keep buying it as long as it means this keeps getting made. I have both beanies!
This series has just turned into Pyrion barely giving a shit about the game, googling random things then reading Wikipedia and Joe half heartedly trying to talk about the game, giving up and filling time.
@@vibtard If that's what does it for people fair play. On rewatching some of the older ones I found it so much more entertaining hearing Pyrion getting fired up about the game and offering some actual easy to understand advice for giga-newbies like myself on things like items and what heroes do etc. Now it's just another rambly focusless podcast with Dota gameplay in the background.
You know, I was going to analogize Twickenham to Staten Island, but SI is much more geographically and culturally isolated from NYC than Twickenham is from the rest of London.
Please start playing games with the 3 stack on this channel again, you, sips, pyrion, anyone else too whenever, but some good episodic gaming series, something Hearts of Iron/Divinity vibe
@dudekazoo nope. Glisten is the older form. Glister came into use in middle English and fell back out of use around 250 years ago. Glisten was present in Old English (Pre-Norman Invasion) and Late Modern English (where we've been since dictionaries were invented), and Glister only popped up in Middle English (Chaucer's English) and Early Modern English (Shakespeare's English). Saying "glister" is correct is like saying "Don't use you, use þu instead".
@XavierTheNeonTiger only in the same way that "thou" is also technically correct. Glisten has been the standard form since the turn of the 19th century. Glister has a fascinating history (it's simultaneously the origin, and an archaic corruption of glisten), but glisten both came first, last and longest in the varying stages of the evolution of English. I would speculate it's probably linked to the various changes in vowel pronunciation in the late middle English period resulting in glister being more difficult to say in many accents (try saying glister in a cockney or Yorkshire accent with a proper glottal stop) because of how the adjacent phonemes are formed.
@@dhamp_ok but he brings up literally in the video that people don't use glister much anymore, it's more of a Shakespeare thing. So how is "it's old" a response lol
well Ted stop yelling at clouds and go out and find them, the bands exist, you just aren't being shown them anymore. because popstars are easier to sell.
"Dont fucking say Coldplay to me Ill kick you in the teeth" got me laughin good
Daff's superpower is that when he drinks milk he turns into a firefighter.
Following the events of the 40 minute mark I made the mistake of checking the video length remaining. Only then did I know the true meaning of dread.

in a world full of change, it’s good to have daff’s skill in dota be an eternal constant
Comic Sans is often used in teaching people with dyslexia to read since it's more legible than other typefaces.
It's due to the spacing between letters being more even than a lot of fonts, iirc.
i played for the first time in 2 years... was scared, confused, accidently picked PL instead of banning him, and shredded? so like, thanks team ig
Heartening to see that Daf still hasn't gotten better at the game after all this time.

1hr+ of Daf with what amounts to a total beginner? Yum yum!
If Daf had a movie it would be The Good, The bad and the Weird.
I'm pretty sure that's a real Korean movie and it's pretty good.
@@Captain1nsaneo Yes, it's a cool western comedy.
29:40 American Ultra comes to mind.
Also the Bill Murray comedy "The Man Who Knew Too Little"

Why do you say that?

GlisteN not glisteR.
It's glister dude. People just usually say glisten or glitter nowadays because glister is rather archaic.
Glister is also correct, though not used much anymore
