    love this! this is an odd question but how much in grams of clay do you think you used for the whole project?

    I really want to make something similar for my husband, I'm worried since I havent worked much with clay. What would be good tips or tricks? How long did this beautiful dragon take over all?

    Nice job! I'm so glad to see someone else who knows how long clay needs to be baked. Not just 30 minutes, but 30 mins. per quarter inch of thickness! So 2 hours sounds just about right. :-)
    Btw, Vivi, I sent you an email a few weeks back but haven't heard from you. Maybe it went into your spam filter?

      Thanks so much! I always bake for longer, just to be sure. ;) So sorry for not responding to your email (and taking so long to respond to your comment, it's been a hectic few weeks), I'll go check for it now! X

      Hello, i have a question. So if i make something that is 1 inch wide at its widest, i bake it for 30min and if i make something that is for example 2inches wide i bake it for 1 hour? Im new to polymer clay and ive only ever made small things so it had always baked okay, trying to learn for future projects. ^-^ thank you in advance! :D

    Why type of wire do you use???🙃

    oh and another question! does your clay sort of dry as you work? or is it totally supple until you bake? I'm using a home made "polymer" clay from cornstarch baby oil and glue and it is amazing to work with in terms of the smoothness and silkiness BUT it dries as I work, wondering if that's normal?

    Why did you bake it for 3 hours intead of 30 minutes ? As you made the structure in foil I wouldn't have think you'll need so much time :)

    • @Velvetorium
      @Velvetorium  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The head and limbs are thicker though, and generally it's better to bake for longer as it makes the clay stronger. :)

      And clay never burns ? thanks for the answer anyway :)
