We first met during the "thing we don't talk about anymore" when you we're looking forward to escaping to Madeira in the "trip that didn't happen anyway" until after the "thing we don't talk about anymore." 🤣🤣We enjoyed hearing about the differences in the ships. I'd love to try an Escape Room. Look like fun! Loved coming along with you.
Iona has the same 2 shows. I watched both last year when I was onboard for 2 weeks on the Iona last October. Going onboard the Arvia on Sunday, the 1st of October can't wait!! X
We will be on Arvia….soon. So excited…thanks to you for your App dining tips, how, where and when to book… We’ve not been on either yet…only Ventura, which we loved…..👍🇬🇧
Hi guys. As ever any vlog is subjective and a personal view. We love Iona, on which we have seen the show with the aircraft cockpit. For us the food on Iona is great and we are more than happy with what is offered. Enjoyed hearing your views. Enjoy your cruising.
Good video. I’ve been on both and both are great ships. I’ve had 2 cruises on Iona and one on Arvia. The shops are more open plan on Arvia. I can’t remember seeing any difference in the spa, but I may be wrong. I didn’t like that show with the aeroplane theme.
Good afternoon Stacey and Kev. Seems like a lot of differences between the two ships. I feel like if I was planning a trip I would need a spreadsheet. Lol. A lot of great information as always. I'm with you on going for more/better food options. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures and doing all this work. I hope you are enjoying the Prima and having good weather. ❤❤
We’ve done Iona 3 times so far… and yes they do the plane on it… not to our taste thought it was a bit odd… we find the shows have been the same shows over our 3 cruises on Iona. Having said that we have booked again for May 2024, also Arvia for 2025 for Med cruise. Hopefully the shows are different. But look very same… we shall see… your videos do give insight to ppl cruising
What did you wear on the celebration nights - I’ve got suits to take but none are black, would that still be suitable? We are going on the on the Mediterranean cruise you mentioned that visits Italy and Majorca in April/May this year
Mission Control was poor value for money,it wasn’t that exciting. But Myself and a couple of family members did it with me. It was nothing like we expected. However we were sworn to secrecy over Mission Control so I can’t really say anything more about it really,as I wouldn’t want to spoil the experience for anyone else. Happy cruising
Iona for me. Arvia caters for a younger age group, didn't like the diner and prefer the olive grove on Iona. Won't say we'd never do arvia again, if the price was right, and itinerary spectacular plus on board credit who knows.
I much prefer the Iona to Arvia have been on iona twice and Arvia once would not go on Arvia again . Thought the roast was terrible and the Olive grove was better on the Iona I always had the pizza . The menu on the Arvia olive grove was limited especially for vegetarians also wasn’t impressed with the 6th Street grille. Also there did seem to be a lot of unhappy staff on the Arvia which made the Iona seem much friendlier. The shop layout is better on the Iona and my son was disappointed in the size of the sports arena on the Arvia . The big screen on the Arvia was also way to loud .
I was on the Iona about a month ago, loved it. Can confirm the Headliners Theatre on Iona does have the airplane coming up from the floor.

Thanks so much Dave and Katny, and wow that seemed like a lifetime ago now 😁 Thanks for watching as always

Yeah, the musical show did have an airplane coming from the stage on Iona this year!
Thanks for letting us know 👍

Yes IONA had the same stage as I saw the same show on it, with the plane cockpit coming out of the stage and all the other impressive staging.
Yes same on Iona, the Aircraft and the New York girder
Yes we also saw that as well

Hi we have a gala evening video for both the Iona and Arvia, we explain in more detail about dress code etc. Hope you have a great time when you go 👍
