Gary this is sooooo good its crazy, one of my new all time favs! This guy can really tell a story man, especially with all his nuances he remembers. Love it Gary!!!
The Tribune had an excellent description of the two cars fleeing the scene of the Seifert murder, including the collision of one of them with an off duty police officer. From the day after the event, 1974
Joe Lombardo was a good man. Keep in mind that during the Danny Seifert episode they all wore gorilla masks. There was never a positive ID of joey. I all the years I was with Joey I never saw him hurt anyone.
First I heard that Marcello picked up some of the hit team at the Venture parking lot. Had to be the one on the east side of Mannheim Rd. just north of North Ave. It closed down in either '97 or '98 lived in the area for years. Definitely on the way to Bensenville which is right up the road.
Great guest Mr. Gary! If I remember correctly and sadly , they had to get pats records to identify his brothers sir to the vicious beating.. sad he recently passed away
That was great, thanks Gary. I would love to hear Lombardo’s testimony. That was hilarious, especially the part about him naming all the sports he played like badminton lol.
@@GaryJenkinsMafiaDetective there are portions of it out there. To get the entire thing, one would probably have to pay for it on PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records). I found the part about all the sports he played. So funny. “I wrestled for high school. I played basketball for high school. I took fencing for a year at high school; I took swimming in high school. I could do other sports, too. I could ice skate, roller skate, Rollerblade, ride a bicycle, and bowl.”
greatest trick the devil ever pulled was telling the world he didn't exist it's not like it was, and it may not look like it used to, but they're still around
This is an interesting interview. Some of his facts that he said were facts he was mistaken about, but I loved the interview. I know for sure if Lombardo was out of peison the other crews would have not murdered Tony. Where is Cosenza ? We call them police districts. He called them precinct's
Red, The last time I seen Joey was in 2007 in court for the Family Secrets trial. Prior to that I seen him at La Scarola restaurant and riding his bike around in the early 2000s. I did not know Joey but hear many great stories from you and the guys in the neighborhood. I ve attended many other trials besides the family secrets trial. One trial you may be interested in ws the bench trial of Richard Baily on the Helen Brach dissapperance.
@@ChicagoMobTrials I talked to Baily when he was in a half way house after ge got out. So let me understand this right. You talk about what other pople said about Joey? It's not first hand information. And your a court buff? I talk to John Drummond as often as I can he always got along with the court buffs.
@@redwemette5942 Red, I never met Joey L and do not know him. I seen him at the FS trial daily. I also used to see him riding his bike around the neigborhood. One time, I seen him having lunch at La Scarola. Yes, I was a court buff back in the 90s and early 2000s. Most of the old court buffs I knew have passed away
He was boss of one of the 5-ish crews in Chicagoland.......so yeah , he was a boss. If you're a NYC mob buff, it would be like being boss of the Lucchese's thats where i'd put the 26th/Chinatown Crew, arguably #2-3 Crew in the Outfit
@@williamrogers9004 I respectfully disagree. There was only one outfit in Chicago unlike in NYC where there were 5 independent families. Being a leader of a crew doesn’t make someone a boss. There is only 1 boss. Unless we will call people bosses if they’re in positions of “captains” or “small bosses.”
Greg, theres really bothing left. Most of the old wise guys are dead or in jail. Whats left is all legit - stock market, real estate, construction, bars, restaurannts, cafes, ect, city jobs...
The Outfit is fine. The traditional structure is still in tact. They’ve integrated most of the Addison Sicilians into the mix, big into H & construction. The genovese family has dual interests with Chicago along Mannheim Rd. The Auricchio Crew out of NJ are partnered up with the Outfit in several interests. Auricchio passed away a couple years ago but his people are there now for him
@@ChicagoMobTrials he wasn’t a street boss. The Outfit has one street boss. Calabrese was just a made guy, nothing above that. I explained the Outfits structure: top boss~underboss~consigliere~Street boss~the territorial capos~their made guys~the associates/Foot soldiers/etc. Calabrese never received a promotion to capo. “Boss of his crew” doesn’t make any sense. Each & every made guy is allowed to assemble a crew upon going through the ceremony, that’s how Cosa Nostra functions. It doesn’t make them “boss” of anything. The bosses are the upper echelon & the captains
I can't believe how just how well James described the trail blow by blow here. Damn great story teller. Damn @jcostenza He has his own channel that is excellent.
Great storyteller. Hope he comes back on the show. This trial should be a movie.
Yes he is good, he will be back.
The recounting of the Joe Lombardo testimony was hilarious. Really enjoyed that part.
Excellent and informative interview.
James Cosenza provided a lot of great information. James is a great interview!
He has great stories. Hope he comes back. Thanks for your great channel Gary.

Thoroughly informative and entertaining. I really appreciate so many uploads recently, Gary. Great interviewer and great interviewee.
He was a great find for me.
Great interview Gary, Thanks again for sharing my court room stories....I think the over all response is positive...I look forward to our next weekend
Yes it was overall very positive. There is always at least one negative comment. Just the nature of the business I guess.
Great guest and a great story!!! Thanks Gary! ✌
He was a great guest and he has more trials he attended.

Joey the clown was at my house seeing my sister at the time seifert was killed. So joey did not do it.
I enjoyed the heck out of this
Thanks, my friend has a great memory. I have another one on the Mike Sarno trial with the same guy

Wow that was one of my favorite’s Gary & I will definitely read more into Frank Calabrese/family secrets trial now for sure. 👍🏼 🍻🇺🇸
Thank you
He's a colorful guy. The guy has a good memory.
Great conversation!
Great video thanks for sharing 👍
So interesting. Is there footage of these testimonies, especially Lombardo’s?
I don’t think there were any cameras in the courtroom. Too bad.
I ❤️ Chicago... God Bless...
Great Show Gary
This is outstanding! Frank Calabrese Jr. does a bus tour in Chicago talking about the mob to tourists. The outfit is dead.
They’ve been saying that for 30 years especially after the”Family Secrets” trial. It just goes on and on.

IS THERE AND COURT ROOM FOOTAGE OF THE FAMILY SECRETS TRIAL??? I WOULD LOVE TO WATCH IT ‼️‼️‼️OR EVEN READ IT‼️‼️‼️😍😍 PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP👍🙏
Not to my knowledge. Sorry that would be dramatic footage.

GREAT STORIES GUYS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY THEY BEAT THE SPILOTROS AND WHY THEY WERE SO MAD AS NOT TO JUST SHOOT THEM. 💯
I think they blamed him for the loss of the Vegas skim and the heat that came down cost them control of the teamster's union.
I think that all the guys were there because they were all responsible for Tony.
Also could you put James info up, if he’s got a TH-cam or a website or Facebook? Would love to hear more from him on the Chicago outfit
He does not have a site.
Glad I found you guys. Getting tired of that other channel where stool pigeons go to die.
