Let us reach out to these guys and pressure them to take some sort of action to preserve the Love of Angling and Nature, before it is all gone, they have the outreach, they can maybe make a difference

DS is right about the positive effects fishing has ,just been outside and being in touch with nature ,I moved to Canada in 97 and miss the river fishing but I’m lucky enough to live in a province that is packed with lakes and rivers ,from massive shoals of carp to predator fishing and ice fishing in the winter , not really into harvesting fish to eat which are plentiful here but just happy catching ,great little video .
I live in the West Country and sadly my nearest store is a far cry from the one in this video. They no longer stock maggots etc and the stock levels have all but disappeared. Very disappointed but more so for the staff , they were always pleasant and helpful and had built a loyal customer base which they have had to watch dwindle away.

Great video Adam and big Dave proper gentleman , you know our local river has always been a challenge but beautiful fish if you persist , i had an 18lb mirror two years since so set my heart on another fast forward to now 💥 not a single fish ,,,, not even a bite two years later nothing , you could always at least get a bite now nothing i don't see fish top anywhere . The day i caught the carp when I got home that night i became aware of a foul smell it is as my landing net i used for the carp ,it stunk of pigshit absolutely wreaked of it and the penny dropped it was spewing out of the outfall below where i was fishing , and appeared to be coming from the mushroom factory behind me 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 the river appears devoid of fish but you can on occasions catch mitten crabs ,wtf is going on Adam and big Dave 😢
My Grandad used to work at The old Kingston Power station along the Thames at Kingston, the warm water outlet produced massive Carp, he took me in once to see the fish trapped in the outlets and turbines, in holding tanks they recon some were over 40 pounds, I saw fish that were as big as me, as me being a kid.

Maybe all the Angling TH-camrs can get together and make a fun event together, and arrange a charity live event, where we can all participate and donate to raise awareness to a very important cause, Guys, the decay in our Rivers is slowly deteriorating every year, but after all this deterioration for so many years, the point will come when it all collapses almost overnight, I have seen it happen on an iconic River in England the river of Isak Walton, hope we can find a way to do something positive, and I apologise that I chose this channel to express my views and hopes, anger and sadness, sorry Adam, I had drunk one beer to many and was frustrated. Time the EA was scrapped not fit for purpose,allowing all the water companies to pump crap into the rivers .When the area authorities looked after there patch they were dredged and a lot cleaner
