This is going to be even longer than it already is. Jason watching you for as long as I have I know the way you think because mostly I think the same way. I've let the most of my life get away from me but still I live in a rural setting. I'm 71 years old I've done probably everything that you have done and don't regret a minute of it, except for a section of my life I let get away from me and I wish was not there but it passed and that's it it's past. The reason I said all this about you is I know you wouldn't say this but I will. Please don't let these idiots and ignorant people get you down. Just consider the source. I'm not calling all these people idiots, because you have a lot of great followers, just the ones that say idiotic things. Son you keep doing exactly what you're doing and what makes you happy and how you feel you should do actually how you feel God wants you to do. I wish I were a lot younger but I can see in you the things that I know now because I knew those things way back when but I did not utilize them the way I should have. I am teaching my grandchildren my ways and I'm very certain that it will save their life at some point in time because the world is going to crap in a handbag. Keep these talks coming like this I really enjoy them it makes me think and things like you're doing now and the few things that you pop up with about survival Etc bring back my knowledge to the surface and then I pass it on to my grandkids. Jason may all your hopes and dreams come true and may God bless you and your family and keep you safe through the coming crap storm. Stay vigilant my friend! PS on that hide if you have an old dryer you can wet that hide again but not soaking wet and stick sawdust and a few wood chunks in there and turn it on without the Heat of course and it will do most of the hard work for you. Once you take it out it will be soft and pliable or you can build something that looks like a water wheel but enclosed and fairly tall do the same thing. When the hide gets to the top it drops down along with a few chunks falling on it and soften that thing softer than a baby's butt. Just an idea because I've done it. Think about it
This channel is so great. I love that it's bushcraft and it survival and it's family and you are not afraid to talk about God. All of those boxes need to be checked to be prepared.
I, for one, appreciate all the hard work you put into your videos! I’m also grateful there are people like you, willing to use the wisdom and talents God gave you to teach people like me (64 yr old woman), how to take care of ourselves in difficult situations. I live in the Houston area, so a lot of your winter preparedness videos don’t pertain to us, but I still enjoy learning from them. Keep up the good work, and God bless you and your family ❣️
I’m 66, I’m a outdoors person, love nature. I really enjoy ur videos, have lots of respect for what you do. Those survival situations you put ur self in to get the real feel of hunger snd having to improvise from nature is outstanding. I have learned a lot. Getting outdoors has always been mandatory for my mental health. It really works.
The Army has taught me to maintain my equipment and myself, and to be mentally tough. With all that comes having a mindset of worst-case scenario. The fire service has taught me to go ugly early. Think the worst possible case scenario and then prepare for that. But reading the stoics has taught me that in the end, it doesn’t really matter. What will happen will happen it’s our attitude toward it is what matters.
Jason, I think you are doing a fine job getting your message out. The naysayers goaded Noah until it started raining. Keep doing what you do and stay safe.
I enjoy your content. With all of the different types of channels like this, you have the most realistic or maybe reasonable mindset. Keep up the good work. Keep looking past the negative people.
Jason, what I really like about your channel is that you show what you're actually doing (as a homesteader, survivalist, athlete, father, etc.) and how much fun that can bring. That's far more inspiring than just talking to people about what they or anyone else should do to make their life better. You go out and do the things.👍
Influencer is an interesting social media term, I would say that your an inspirer. I don't know how you deal with the haters, it would drive me mad! Keep at it.
Sorry you experienced that friend, some people can not help but show their idiocy. My wife and I desire to live in the forest and enjoy the noise of the wind rushing through the pine, or the sound of me chopping wood, the hard work growing our own garden vegetables and reap a beautiful reward of deer grazing in a nearby clearing. I grew up in upstate New York and spent far too much time in my Adirondack Mountains Lake Placid area. I can remember listening to the hunting loon calls on the lake as the sun has gone down...I miss that so much. We currently live in the Farmington New Mexico area but go up to the mountains of Colorado. I love the forest, brings out the Viking dna 🧬 in my blood. Yahshua bless you.
I recently found your channel but then in looking through I have watched a few of your videos. Watching a bunch more right now. Thank you for what you do.
@@ONThree I have been off work and sick a few days so I was up till 5 am watching your videos. Time flew and I learned a lot. Today I watched many more. Thank you for passing on what you have learned.
I’m sorry that the video featuring your daughters “EDC” became such troll fodder, it’s one thing to call you out on your wind instrument ignorance, but those other inappropriate comments are just unacceptable. Do what you do, and know that many people appreciate what you share, and the way you share it.
I absolutely agree. I loved that video and watched it with my 9 year old then we went through her pockets for fun. I would love more kid focused content but I do understand how idiots can ruin that for everyone. I'm so sorry people said such crazy things.I thought it was a fabulous video!!
Jason, my wife of 8 years passed away unexpectedly at 36 years old about a week ago. I’m 34 and we have 3 young children all under 6. If you would mind praying for us we are in our own personal shtf situation right now.
I am so so sorry that this has happened to you. I can’t imagine how hard this is for you. I will absolutely pray for you right now. Stay strong. There is nothing you can’t handle and those kids need you to be tough as nails. Praying hard for you!
I think it’s awesome what you are doing if you think about it by encouraging and teaching others how to prepare and basic survival skills is also another way of protecting your own family it would make other people not freak out and try to take from others and make them likeminded and actually want to help others instead
I'm with ya, 110%, but I need help. With everything. I'm trying but going backwards. Smh. The harder I try, the worse it gets. Medical issues suck. Getting old sucks, but I have knowledge, I have skills, I just need help. A local tribe would be great, a far away tribe is great, my family is 1000 miles from me. They in NY I'm in NC. I'm alone. It sucks.
Stay strong my friend. Agreed, getting old sucks and good friends are really hard to find. Pray often, work really hard without complaint or excuses and be obedient to God and good things will come your way.
could you link the video of your daughters pocket dump. im curious on the kit. ive been helping my friends kids build a basic med kit before getting into tools and shelter and fire making. i gotta go by the parents standards but want them to be prepared, safe, knowledgeable, and able to help themself or others.
th-cam.com/users/shortsT8xofln7vQQ?feature=share There you go but I would not use this video as a guide. This is all the random stuff that was found in her jacket.
You're on the right path don't listen to stupid people keep God in your heart and you will be happy and able to feed your family in hard times that are coming
I miss peeing where I want lol .holy crap really condoms sick sick ppl ...amen it's where he needs you most. you just keep on keeping on ya got a good family and raising them right 👍 fork the rest.i was a late life baby . depression era parents so I grew up prepping and living off the land
Sounds great. There are different ways to do this with our different talents. Along with these activities, other things to do to prepare would be economically and with education. Start a college savings account (529) for your kids early. Save money every month and diversify into cash, stocks, bonds, precious metals, etc. Get an IRA at 18: years old and max your contributions each year. Get great educations so you can get a good job and build resources. Stay involved with your community. Support your friends and family.
I agree it really sucks people are that way. Why would someone take the time to watch a video just to make stupid comments especially about kids is crossing the line
Good work Jason.. just keep putting out good content to make them hate more my friend it's cause the can't do or be you. An the one's taking about your kids would never dare say it to your face there SCUMBAGS.
It is sad that people feel the need to comment like that about your minor daughter. But it’s even more sad that there are people out there who live just to do such things. Truly pathetic people.

Keep living the good life that God wants you to live
Very good video

I think you are working to be a positive role model for other humans.
Great video Jason.... love your common sense approach and you never fail to motivate me to do more... keep up the good work...

Amen!
Preparing is smart. We got to do better than the next person.

Growing up we hand split our firewood. My dad would say boy this will make a man out of you. He lied.

Algorithmic enhancement lol

Never expose your family to the freaks in the world, Jason. Too many animals, feral humans out there too risk it...Millstone offenders!
