no - not normally as far as i am aware ( i think in Episode 3 we can see a scene of one lazer getting reloaded in the opening scene so i think they will need some time to refill) - Edit: we can actually see the Y-Wings (which were notoriously slow fightercrafts since they were bombers) zooming around very fast and rapidly switching direction - i will go so far to say that i assume the battles are sped up

@@neko6803 Star Wars craft do not exactly follow real world fighter craft roles so it's best to keep that in mind. A Y-wing is slow in the sense that other fighter and interceptor craft outrun them easily. As far as actual speed goes it has a lukewarm top speed. Not as lumbering as real world bombers used to be.
