OMG, Cindy! This one is fantastic! My mind is whirling! Thinking how cool it would be to coffee stain and use with burlap for projects! The possibilities are endless! Thanks for sharing!
I'm a watercolorist and I have to say you're getting some very nice effects and a bonus might be that your finished piece will smell good, too! 😀 I might add this to my mixed media bag of tricks. Thanks
I think this definitely should go into your next mixed media project (and yeah... it smells great!)... This was my first trial and definitely not my last... would love to see what you do with it!!
This is brilliant. Will never toss dryer sheets again! The way it tears reminds me of mulberry paper but this more "readily available." Great idea for fun art making. Thank you.
I’ve been saving dryer sheets for a year! Have a big bag of them. I thought I’d use them in my cardboard projects like folks do with paper and glue around the edges, like paper mache. I thought the fibers would hold extra good. But this idea is fantastic! I love the flowers and my mind is spinning with ideas! But the water color, junk journal, card making possibilities are endless! Enjoyed the video. First time seeing you. Gonna watch some more. Thanks! ❤️💜💚
Well, first of all… welcome to the channel, glad you found me. Secondly… a year’s worth? You have projects waiting for you my friend? I think these would be very durable in paper mache projects so I would definitely use them for that..l glad you now have extra ideas!,
The algorithm popped up this video and I love this idea. I've used colored dryer sheets for cats and dogs on cards but your ideas got me excited to branch out. I subbed on the spot!
Wow… welcome Jean! You have me intrigued with cats and dogs…. Getting my head around that… are you cutting the shapes out… drawing them on the sheet? Inquiring minds want to know!!!
Awesome ideas!
It's an out of the box fun one... but it definitely leads to other ideas...!!!!
This is such a good idea. I can see tea or coffee staining the dryer sheets for use in art journalling as well.
Yes, Brenda! Definitely tea and coffee stained! the fibrous texture is wonderful for use in journals.
Wow absolutely will be doing this ❤
Now I just suffer through the loss of all those past dryer sheets that got tossed!!
Thank you! I think this will help me with some clouds ☁️ 😊
Okay... Glad it works for you!!
I make flowers with it, but I’m likening what you did, thank you
Great to get more uses!
Great ideas!! Been kinda thinking in that direction also lol. Thanks!🤗💝
Then this was a timely one for you!
Good idea! I'm going to try this in my journals.
June... perfect for journals!!

They are quite durable... I love the coffee stain idea Wendy and definitely see myself using these in future projects!

That fibrous tear was what snagged me… but the fact that it’s a leftover byproduct from its first use grabbed me…. A total savings!
Absolutely love this!
It's pretty cool, isn't it?
That’s fabulous!! I love this and am absolutely going to make something this way!!
That's great!! Love hearing that!

I've been using mine for a very long time. Great for many crafting projects.
Alma…. What do you do either yours? Tips? Insights? Love to hear…
