Hi, I am using Magento 2.2.4, and on the page for "Your Payment API credentials", I click on the Grant API permission, where it takes me to the page titled "Add New Third Party Permissions". What we need to enter in the box for "Third Party Permission User Name"? Entering "Magento" does not work. What should we enter in this field? Thanks
some countries have different setup. can you share where you see the problem? on paypal or magento site? and what country did you select on top of settings?
@@Astralwebincloves I can't able to choose my country (Saudi Arabia) as dropdown list is not showing. Besides, the problem is appearing on the Magento site, PayPal option is not coming on Checkout.
@@sbkhan303 what "scope" are you using? (meaning website, store or store view) on top left hand side. also can you take a screenshot and reply to this message with link to it. you can use imgur to upload and share.
Honestly, the link you put in the description saved my butt. In case Paypal will modify the URL of this page, can you show me how to get to this page once I logged into Paypal account? Thank you!
Happy this helped you. To be honest, its also hard for me to get to this page as the UI is not the easiest so i always click around the settings, business and then find it. :) Note that this URL has been working for a very long time

I have followed this step by step. when I save it tells me cache need refreshing when I do this it seems do something. when I try to test purchase I get this measage - PayPal gateway has rejected request. Billing address request is not enabled for merchant (#11601: Request for billing address failed) Any help please?
when you visit settings under paypal express - Basic Settings - PayPal Express Checkout - Advanced Settings: Under "Require Customer's Billing Address" it says . This feature needs be enabled first for the merchant account through PayPal technical support. Please contact Paypal technical support
still an ultra noobe I am building my own website in magento called www.screwsnet.com , but I dont think my paypal is working. I also need to learn more on how to work cron jobs and indexing. I have experince with html5 css3 but 0 magento knowledge. Hopefully I can follow your vidoes and be able to build something. Thank you for making the videos.
