Welcome to Brisbane! this was such a wholesome vlog. Highly recommend heading out to Morton Island/Tangalooma when you can. The weather will be gorgeous in the coming months 😊
Omg thank you so so much 🫶🏻 I really appreciate you commenting. I’ve a list of things to do and places to see so I’ll definitely add that. I’m excited for it to be slightly cooler 😅 but I love it here already!! Xx
So happy for you girl this is so cute!
Thanks sooo much!! 🥹🫶🏻 feels very real now
Everywhere looks fab 😍 hope ye are both having the best time!!
Thank you sooo much! It’s genuinely the best decision I’ve made to come here 🫶🏻
lol at the bondi sands/bondi rescue confusion, also the hat was giving Mia Thermopolis from that scene in Princess Diaries haha
omg hahaha it actually was!! 👒 and yeah, I was convinced I was on a tangent about the lifeguards 🫠
loved the vlog :)
Thank you soooo much!! 🥹🫶🏻
if there’s any specific Australia/ Brisbane content you’d like to see, let me know!! or any question, leave them below 😙
Hi👋 I've been thinking about moving to Australia from Ireland when I graduate college 🤞what steps would I need to take to achieve this .. ps love your channel ✨
hey!! firstly, try get some office experience, like really basic admin work, you can then work anywhere in Australia. obvs if you have a science or engineering degree, it’s different but I found getting jobs quite easy because I had 4+ admin experience. Other that than, save some money then apply for a work holiday visa and you’re here 🤣🤭 if you’ve any specific questions, just let me know and I’ll try help 😙 (thank you btw xx)
@@RachelEustace Thank you so much ✨
Wish I could taste the cookies 🍪
When I come home, I’ll bring you some 🤭🤣
Such a random question but where is your bfs backpack from? The brownish one 🤩
omg I love random questions - it is from Carhartt! he got it a year ago and it's honestly the best bag, it fits SO much x
How much money did you bring with ye? Is there jobs and stuff going over there? I'm graduating from college this semester and haven't a clue what I wanna do but not staying here
Hey! I brought 4k in savings, and yeah! Loads of jobs but I’d say, get experience first. I have office/ admin experience so I found getting a job easy enough. I start a month long contract today. Best of luck!!
@@RachelEustace Thank you! What do you think of it over there compared to home? My cousin is in Sydney and rent is very bad he said, is Brisbane the same?
@MaVOfficialHD well rent is paid weekly here, so it starts at like $300 a week per person (for a city central, good facilities apartment: pool, gym etc). It would roughly work out at €700 a month per person. I think the biggest difference is that there’s more apartments available in Brisbane in comparison to Sydney. Not sure about cost difference.
@@MaVOfficialHDsame same. Not enough property and landlords pushing prices up. Its not cookies and swimming pools here, you need money and you need a skill to add to society. Apart from all that, it beats back there hands down🧡🇦🇺.
… I actually fully agree but I don’t understand your comment about the cookies and swimming pools. I choose Brisbane because it had more apartments and I acknowledge that Sydney is harder. I’m glad im somewhere I can enjoy life, work hard and live in a lovely apartment.
