- My Mother in her hotel room during her last visit to Memphis. She was battling cancer and it was taking a toll. But she was a wealth of historical information on the early COGIC. Because she lived in the Mason, & the Patterson homes a total of 7 years. And was Bishop C.H. Mason's spiritual daughter.

Somebody woke up grandma, put her on camera, and started asking her questions and her reaction.. thats godliness! Esp when you can get woken up w/ a camera in your face and be pleasant and singing?!? Every time I see that there is a video of your mother I watch it over and over and over. She had such a sweet spirit and whether she sings part or all of a song I love it. Thank you so much for sharing her with those of us that are just now learning of COGIC and the COGIC Pioneers.
