So idk if you care, any of you, but today I brought my baritone uke named Hazel to school and played some songs I wrote. One of them is called Bad Mood, and my friend sang along with me. For the first time in my life, someone besides my brother cared enough about the music I write to learn the words. I started crying because I felt so lucky. It really gives me faith to know that if one person thinks I can start a music career, than maybe others will, too.
Robbie, you've been one of my biggest inspirations, in so many aspects. Thank you for being here and for being you :')

you can hear that Rob was a lil nervous during the first 2 songs because his voice was shaking, but he became more confident after that :') i now feel better about my own performances knowing robbie still gets nervous, too
I ask myself now, how can this man's voice calm me down so much? Everytime I'm about to fall down in a anxiety crises, if I listen to them, or sing one of their songs, I'll be fine again!

Being entirely aromantic, (as well as somewhere along the ace spectrum, though I'm still trying to figure out exactly where), I don't really get the appeal of all this lovey dovey shit. But, Goddamn, are these songs so good. Especially Sharpener. That piece pretty much perfectly describes how I felt all throughout late middle and high school, before I knew that aromantic was even a term. I never cut myself thankfully, but gods, was I in such pain all the time as a young 'un. Trying to force myself to feel things I just couldn't. I am doing much better now, for anyone wondering. Also, cavetown, the San Diego performance was awesome as all get out, your songs are even more amazing in person. Still can't believe I made it to a live show. You fuckin' rock mate. Hopefully your next US tour includes a location somewhere much closer to where I live. Say, San Francisco or Sacramento instead of San Diego. As the only reason made it to the San Diego showing was because I was already going up there for a trip.
