do you know how sakuga animators are made to work on anime's? like do they work by commission or are they contract bound to certain studio's? because yutaka nakamura works for bones 80% of the time and he's been doing it for years and naotoshi shida has only worked on toei stuff as much as I know of. yet Q kawa works on plenty of anime from different studios similar to someone like shuu sagita or ryo imamura
@@ShadyJed there are 2 types (as of i know): people like Yutaka Nakamura, Arifumi Imai and Keiichirō Watanabe (for MAPPA) are contracted freelancers, they work for one studio mainly but they do work on some anime, Freelancers are the ones that get contacted by studios to work on their shows, they get multiple occasions and they have to choose whether to accept or no
