Great tutorials! I have been a OneNote user from the begining, I believe it was 2003. Your videos are a wealth of knowledge! Thanks for the great videos!

Another great video! I love a physical planner especially for the reasons you explain. I love this idea of cleansing & starting with a new annually!

Hi Andy, great tips! After I backup to external disk the name of notebooks appears out of date. And I didn't get the message that it needs to be updated. Should I force the update to check if it changes the notebooks name?

Can you also move saved templates from the notebook that has been backed up to the new notebook

Hi Anna - as far as I know, the templates are saved in OneNote itself and not saved to a specific notebook. Once you create and save a template, it should be available across your notebooks, whether or not you close that notebook and saved to backup or not. Hope this helps.

That is, the name of notebooks on the external disk is not the same as the name of notebooks on the c:\ drive. And I had already changed the names 2 weeks ago. But the content in both seems to be the same.

If you haven't gotten an answer already . . .
How did you change the name?
In my experience, changing the Notebook's "Displayed Name" via Properties in OneNote doesn't actually change the file name.
