Katrina’s character isn’t toxic. Her father is. Namaste India sucks due to the fact that Rishi’s character shames his Punjabi wife who can’t speak English and always insults her, but when he has an English daughter he now wants a traditional daughter. That doesn’t work that way and he always encouraged his daughter to be more English as she grew up.
What about Vijay in bhootnath movie he lefted his parents for jobs and after job he married and has little boy . but dident even call his parents how they are even his parents call him how are when you will meet us . He comes but when his mother die even his dad was angry but when he see his grandson he foregive them after that he did left his dad alone when he left he did even see his dad back that his dead while running to stop him . Sub say jhada gussa to Vijay ki wife kai uppar ata hai if you see the whole movie
Vastav is really good movie and taught a lot of lessons about. BAD CHOICES in Life. The story is so strong that I literally neglected the roast and immersed in the scene played by actor ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Katrina in namaste london is not toxic, she is just a careless kid. Uske typical Indian father uski life ko itna contrl krne ki koshish karte rahte hain, she just tries to live her life on her own terms
Yes she was just spoilt. Her father was way too dominating and wanted her to always behave according to him. First he gave her the freedom for his own image in the society. He fixed her wedding without her consent and was literally not ready to listen to her. She just wanted to live life on her terms and that doesn't mean she didn't love her parents .
Ya her Dad was the toxic one! First he spoilt her rotten , then instead of asking her to get a job and move out and pay for bills, he literally wanted her dumped on another man. Coz only a gaon ka man can " fix " bigdi hui ladkiyan. If I was the guy, I would feel totally offended 🤣 . And which city kid even, forget someone living in another country , would like to settle for a village guy who as great as he is has zero in common with her? Or for that matter why would the guy settle. Uncle ne lage haath dono ki zindagi barbaad kar di...Toxic Dad lol
@@sm5773 Yes she was spoilt that too coz of her dad's freedom as he didn't want her to turn out a embarrassment like his wife. You can't expect a modern and well educated woman staying in abroad to marry a uneducated villager even without knowing him. Even Arjun always portrayed himself like a desperate idiot in the beginning infront of Jasmit but still family expected her to marry him. Yes Arjun was the right guy for him and Jasmit fell in love with real Arjun which she got to know after properly meeting and spending time with him. His father's selfish motive had almost turned both Arjun and Jasmit's lives
@@sm5773 watch the movie again buddy, she was a working women, pays her bills and always wanted to move out. She wasnot even bigdi hui ladki. And if i were the girl, i would highly get offended by marrying to the mannerless guy like arjun. Ya he was kind hearted but desperated enough to say no.
Kat's character was self centred but not toxic. Her father and Arjun were. Even her mother knew how her father spoilt her and later trying to control her life. Arjun was no better, that guy must have atleast asked her before marrying. Entire movie was stupid that was trying to glorify toxicity of Indian parents, force arranged marriages and irrational biases against westerners.
I think you have forgotten the story of the charcter arjun, actually in the movie kat's character tricked arjun into believing that shes ready to marry him and once they reached London she reveled that she never liked him and just faked agreeing so that her family doesnt get violent with her.
Jass's character can't be called toxic coz just think once what would you do if you are forced to marry someone even after clearing your choices before your parents. N the other characters also I think the bagbaan one was somehow flawed and toxic but also over exaggerated, and offcourse the vastvav one was also situational one,Raghu loved his parents but the circumstances leads him that kind of life, but we should always there for our parents, love them support them n if anything is going on wrong direction we have to sit down n discuss n let each other know what hurting someone's sentiment.
I don't agree with u on namastey London one, they went to London just to force their kid to marry a random guy and stay in an Indian village forever? It's not possible, just see from Jass' perspective.
By looking at Vaastav and it's sequel Hathyar I think that Vijay was more toxic than Raghu as he was never concerned about his family as in the sequel he even refuses to help his dying father, anyways Vaastav was a very sweet film. Jasmeet in Namastey London was toxic AF. Finally you are one of the few reviewers who understands the problem of Baghban parents instead of mocking that film and showing children as victims.
