Unfortunately as of September 14, 2024, this beloved Nationally recognized Museum has closed. It was bittersweet, wholesome excitement, and sad day for Everyone and I! Eventually soon, this Museum will be moving somewhere else, but don’t know when that’ll be yet. Fortunately, My Former Middle School Teacher from The SASED-(The School Association For Special Education in DuPage County’s) Visually Impaired Program showed up with Her Family too! She has a Family Member who has worked with the Museum, which is so cool. Rest In Piece to The Former Mascot Hall Of Fame Museum in Whiting, Indiana USA: 2018-2024 :(
I had no idea this place existed until your videos. It looks like it was pretty neat. I love Tommy Hawk being a huge Blackhawks fan. And Clark is my favorite baseball mascot cause I love the Cubs. I saw that Benny pic at the end. I grew up when we were winning NBA championships and saw them play back in 91 at the old stadium. Fun times. Wish Staley was there. I remember the 85 bears, even got to meet Sweetness as a kid (#34 Walter Payton).
@@stiksmommy5079 Thank You, that’s really cool! This was a fun/sad video to make. There’s a few other videos by many others from years past that We found a while ago too. This Museum will eventually move somewhere else, as soon as a new possible location is secured. (Everything in this Building is in Storage currently, according to one of the Owners, We talked to. We told Him that if a new location is found and wanting to be used, try to get it on the News to help the funding for the Facility. We actually have some connections, since one of My Former Middle School Teachers, from SASED’s Visually Impaired Program has a Brother that works with the organization. (Didn’t know until yesterday!) All of the online stuff will not be going anywhere though.)
@@JarrodWinegarden Oh Yes, I saw You on Camera! We ALMOST “saw” each-other for the first time in-person, haha! (I didn’t even notice You in-person, until looking back at the video later on and You holding Your Stuffed Animal, giving You away. I have a few at Home Myself.)
