Have you noticed a gain in HP and torque after changing to the new filter? I’m going to be changing my air filter in my 2012 Fiat 500 Sport to the high performance K&N air filter and was wondering if it was an immediate improvement
Hi Dave, Not really. The K&N filter is so much better then a stock one, your going to notice something, even if its a small gain it will definitely be a gain! .. I've used K&N in some of my past cars and definitely noticed an increase in power and throttle response. good luck!
The right angle driver is called an Allen wrench. Don't need to remove engine cover. Just do 3 screws and release hose. Then gently pull plastic housing out. Tabs on bottom. Noreen
Depends on your car. Not enough clearance for the filter without removing the cover on my car. Also, I need to remove the air intake for more slack like in the video.

I have the same car did you ever put one on?
@@rennumphress9836 i ended up getting a cold air intake instead. Found one locally and modified it to fit
Good video, will add that parts supplies from Rock Auto are running local parts stores out of business.

Thanks Noreen! if you like Fiat 500 content check out my other channel, its under the name GTyar.
Why didn’t you use a 10mm socket and ratchet?
All with one hand. I like it.
it wasnt easy, but it all worked out in the end. I have since purchased a Gopro that i can attach to my head hahahah .
Lmao 🤣 I've never had to remove cover to change my filter and its actually an 8 mm wrench or socket
Great video man thank you so much!
Thank you, I'm humbled.
Your video is very helpful, OBRIGADO!😅😁👏🏼
Thanks Victor, I'm happy it was helpful.
I keep my engine without that multiair insulation cover, due hot weather !
Thank you !
Yea, i actually never put mine back on after i made this video,, seems useless to me. just a cosmetic item. Thank you for watching!
FYI you only have to take the 3 screws out to change this filter . All the other stuff isn’t necessary. Save some time People

Nice
Just use a 1/4" ratchet and deep socket.
Good call Wayne, that definitely makes it easier.
3:10 OUPSS , funny ...
Could of saved yourself time by using a Ratchet and 8mm socket . And you took things off that didn't need to come off.
