Every time she got the crown and she is the one to answer she always give it to her Co member that who try to get the crown for them to answer it despite her knowing that the loser of the game will have the punishment. I don’t get why they think Yeji doesn’t deserve her lines. She is a very well balanced artist, who could sing well, rap well, and of course dance well. The other members are good too, but you have to consider the positions of them. Ryujin is a main rapper, Lia is a main vocalist. They are better at a specific area, but compared with Yeji she is not bad at all three. She deserve her lines. And people who hate on Yeji, they have to stop. The company decided on the lines, and to me Itzy’s line distribution is quite fair already compared to other groups (such as EXO with Sehun having no lines in a song) so there’s no point hating on Yeji, they’re just hurting a 20 year old teen girl who has just achieved her dream. None of us can know if she is JYP's "favorite" or whatever, but my impression is that the members if Itzy seem to get along very well, and I doubt things would seem so peaceful if the other members felt that she got unfair advantages from the company. Every time she got the crown and she is the one to answer she always give it to her Co member that who try to get the crown for them to answer it despite her knowing that the loser of the game will have the punishment. I don’t get why they think Yeji doesn’t deserve her lines. She is a very well balanced artist, who could sing well, rap well, and of course dance well. The other members are good too, but you have to consider the positions of them. Ryujin is a main rapper, Lia is a main vocalist. They are better at a specific area, but compared with Yeji she is not bad at all three. She deserve her lines. And people who hate on Yeji, they have to stop. The company decided on the lines, and to me Itzy’s line distribution is quite fair already compared to other groups (such as EXO with Sehun having no lines in a song) so there’s no point hating on Yeji, they’re just hurting a 20 year old teen girl who has just achieved her dream. The Kpop industry is very depressing, and if this nonsense hate continues, Yeji might lose her confidence on stage, or get depression, or worse, you know?

When she asked the members to listen to Ryujin they all went dead quiet, I just get the feeling they respect her a lot. True...Everglow and ITZY case are Indeed different...and honestly ITZY line distribution were actually pretty normal...most of Kpop groups always got 1 members who got many lines...plus there is a reason why Yeji got many lines...
Meanwhile for Everglow,their company literally gave Mia sing almost the whole song,not just that,she also get a lot of center times,screen time in the MV,and a solo dance break just for herself...Onda barely sing,and EU barely got center time or dance break time for her even tho she's the main dancer also...plus,even in most of their dance cover,they always gave Mia center part and most lines...and that's what we call UNFAIR...
And they should blame this to their company and not hating on the idol itself

I literally cried. I can't make a long sentence here but I just want to say that Yeji is one of the best leaders ever, she always takes care of her members and sacrifices herself and that's what makes her a leader.

Yeji is amazing. A great leader who also shares with and protects her group members. And she is a very talented performer with one-in-a-billion visuals (yes, I do mean that) who is still humble and friendly and wants to help her members shine.
None of us can know if she is JYP's "favorite" or whatever, but my impression is that the members if Itzy seem to get along very well, and I doubt things would seem so peaceful if the other members felt that she got unfair advantages from the company.
Yeji will naturally get more attention, simply for being the leader and the oldest in the group. But that doesn't mean she is "stealing" attention from anyone else. I will never understand haters on the internet (whether it's against an individual member like this, or trying to make fanwars).
I love Yeji, and she is my bias (pretty obvious from this comment I guess), but I ALSO love the other members and Itzy wouldn't be Itzy without all of them.
