Haha, finally someone noticed😅I remember that I goofed quite a while with those and turned them around and around until I figured out how they are really supposed to be. Guess that this part ended accidentally in the video on the edit. I hope no one thinks this is instructional video 😂

@@Garage_Perkele All good buddy. How did the tires do? I'm rocking Rallz on my T7 but since they are imposible to find atm I'm looking for good alternatives.

@@goatman86 I can't complain, I drove around 2000km with it last fall and traction was good on sand and mud. Little slippery on wet tarmac, but otherwise ok. Rubber isn't very durable and those couple thousand kilometers ate quite a lot from the knobs. If you got it at proper discount I would say it's worth buying.

It's just a natural way of self expression under the pressure😅 I still think that I managed little better than this guy th-cam.com/video/xuywUEdkvTM/w-d-xo.html 😄

    Thanks for posting.
First time I ever changed a tube was on the front of my Tenere out on the road, it took a while but it was relatively easy. After trying for 2 hours to get the bead to unseat on the rears, I gave up and had it done on a tire machine.
Since there's no way I'm putting a kilogram of full-length tire irons in my expedition kit, do you think there's some way of doing it in the field?
Or should I just buy a super-premium, heavy duty Michelin inner tube and pray often?

Haha, I'm not much of a religious person so guess I can't say anything about that praying option😅 but those short tire irons can easily be hidden under the Tenere's plastics with zipties or something and the bead can be broken with those. Btw, was your rear tire factory installed? Second time I changed the rear tire, breaking the bead was super easy compared to the first time.

Yes, those were the OEM STRs. I'll pack a c-clamp and I'll it another try at some point!

I found that the technique with only tyre levers is that with one lever you open the gap between the tyre and the rim. With the second lever your trying to push the lip of the tyre inside towards the rim. That way you can slip the "lip" from the rim's groove.
