    I needed this!! I'm going to be able to get my bachelor's degree online, but the programs for the graduate schools seem to all require in-person education and I am autistic, physically disabled, and have five kids. There's no way I could picture myself being able to be what I need to be for myself and my family and go to grad school. Some things in life are more important. I love that I choose myself and my family. I'll hope for a future online telehealth education, because I would love to be able to go to grad school. It kind of makes me sick that the APA hasn't found a way around this in the covid era. I'm hopeful that things will change. Until then, I'm going to work with my bachelors. And I know I'll love what I do.

    Super important video topic, thanks Phil! I just got a 322 on my GRE, so hoping that will get me in, but excited to have backup plans!

      That's lit! Congratulations 🙌🏼. You would definitely get acceptance letters right away!
      Wish I'll get something above 300, at least!

      Good question, this is the exam taken in the U.S. required to get into graduate schools. Involves a math, reading, and writing section

    I tried watching this but the background music was too distracting.

      I’m an audio engineer and this music is not any louder than any other video. There’s nothing wrong with this video.

      Great question! It really depends on your interests as well as what's available. I know of students who start working in a range of fields whether it's in human resources, social work services, research labs, or even business. Hope that's helpful.

    Can you really work as a school psychologist with a certification ? And if so what are these certifications called ?

    • @philsguidetopsyd
      @philsguidetopsyd  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes! A masters and a certification typically based on state regulations. Here is a video that this school psychologist goes over all the details and the specific names. Hope it helps! th-cam.com/video/7CyFosetVXU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=A86ZUR7LvjQTrTLb

      Really depends on having a good plan on what you’d like to use it for
