Thank you! If the sticky residue remains after removal of labels, you can iron the glue off onto paper from the other side of the fabric. 🧡

Why do they need to stick these labels on, they know how difficult it is to get off. I think it's showing disrespect to the people who buy this fabric.

Hi there, I believe it has something to do with authenticity. That is to say, those who produce the genuine fabric setting their product apart from the imitation prints. Trouble is that the imitation prints began using the labels too in an attempt to look as close to the genuine product as possible. I agree that it's far from ideal and in the 21st century, the genuine manufacturers really need to come up with a more sophisticated way of achieving their aim. As you can imagine I have raised this with them in the past.

Yes, it can do. A couple of solutions is to either: use the other non-sticky side as often there is little difference in the print between the two sides. Another thing I have done is to rub washing up liquid onto the gluey residue or some other stain removal product and then wash in the machine. Thanks for your comment!

Having successfully removed the labels, there is now a sticky patch. Will this wash away in a cold wash?

Hi there, yes this can happen as the glue is quite strong. If needed, I like to treat the sticky area with with washing up liquid before washing. This usually does it. I like to avoid using the area of fabric where the labels had been if I can.

Unfortunately there is now a sticky patch right in the middleoif my fabric and as I need the whole piece I have a very disapprovingly sticky patch which washing doesn't remove.

Another thing you can try is to iron the gluey residue onto kitchen towel paper. Others have tried this and it worked.
