Thanks a lot for watching and safe journeys!
17 bucks for a beer is outrageous.
Brings back memories....El Salvador is a really beautiful and diverse country with lakes, volcanos, amazing beaches, mountains, Maya ruins and big cities (San Salvador feels huge and is filled with rraffic jams). Was there in three werks and we saw it all! Visited Guatemala City too.
Oh damn! I've been watching your vlogs for almost like 5 or 6 years at this point and this will be the first time where I'm travelling in the same country as you at the same time! Enjoy El Salvador. I just did the Santa Ana Volcano hike yesterday it was one of my best travel experiences. Enjoy! These will be some great vlogs I'm sure.
Excellent, good to know. I'm headed there next. ✌️
If you take bus 202, that's headed for Ahuachapan. Make sure to hop off of it before Ahuachapan it'll pass the highway just south of Santa Ana. That is if you're staying in the city of Santa Ana of course. I made that mistake of missing the Santa Ana stops on my first evening here and ended up in Chalchuapa! Anyways enjoy! It's great up here@@GabrielTravelerVideos
Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........PS nice to leave the 20 dollar beers behind......OMG..............
Gabe is fucking balling lately
I travel vicariously through your videos. Looking forward to El Salvador. Your camera works great, no need to upgrade. SFO Beer was too expensive for me.
Everyone is talking about how expensive the beer is, but what about the bus? $51 for a bus ride to the airport is absolutely insane!
Well, Santa Rosa to SFO is 70 miles.
@@dannyjose5702 @dannyjose5702 I can take high speed rail from Taipei to Taichung, which is 100 miles, for half that price. And if I chose to take the bus, it would cost $10.
Mr. Gabes frugal adventure
Thank Bukele. Your trip is a lot safer now.
Yes but he doesnt approve of gay marriage or abortion so wtfs that
@@onelove8062 Exactly, Bukele is a real one.
@@onelove8062neither do I..
@@onelove8062cuz he's based
@@onelove8062 Yeah he is chad
Awesome to see you in El Salvador, a place I go to a lot visiting my wifes family... I cant wait to see where you go, there is plenty to see, volcanos galore to climb, sights to see and nature trails... plus miles of amazing beaches of course :)
So happy you are in El Salvador!
Great to see you there ! My wife was originally from San San Salvador. She says it looks basically the same from what you've shown. Looking forward to the rest of the videos of your visit!
Hum, your wife was from El Salvador?? Hello!! Sir she still is
@@belemcea7741 No. Though we plan to visit. Glad Gabe is doing a video there!
clearly hasn't seen how fast its developing...
I stayed at "Volcan Cumbres Flor Blanca". It was $40/night, a private room with attached bathroom. It's in a great location, right across the National Gynasium and short walking distance to Parque Cuscatlan.
Great! A nice, new relatively unknown country for us to enjoy!
Tipping for just pouring you a beer is just wrong! Tipping should be for good service 🍄
I hope you enjoyed every sip of the $17+ glass of pale ale 😂
Luckily it was a super tasty one.
You look really well rested, Gabriel. The break has obviously done you good and I'm looking forward to watching your videos from your 94th country ✨⭐😊
I stayed in San Benito. Agree what you said about the prices compared to neighbor countries. I found El Salvador and also Honduras a little more expensive than Guatemala, but of course still very reasonable. I used Uber from San Benito to Plaza Libertad. 5-6 kilometers. 5-7 USD. Really nice city center. Meeting El Salvadorians living in the US telling med about how dangerous it was just 5 years ago and that they might move back to their home country.
A blessed Good day sir Gabe nice To see u In, Central American Country of El Salvador Thanks Godbless from the Philippines 🙏♥️🙂🙏🇵🇭🎉
I found your channel a couple of years ago and always enjoyed listening to your experiences visiting places around the world. I never thought you would visit my country ever haha, really hope you like it!
Always love a new country video.
Love to see some hiking videos from El Salvador! Enjoy your trip.
Looking forward to an interesting, beautiful destination!Cheers!
very expensive beer😊
Please get lots of volcano video! (even if just viewed from far away). El Salvador has some great ones.
Looks like an interesting country
No wonder once people get to places like Thailand / Vietnam, their dollar goes crazily far! $17.50 bucks for a beer? Insane
God forbid they nerf that
It's airport prices!!
That San Fran airport beer price 😂😳 I make my own wine for about $1.75 a bottle.
Nice Gabriel, I love when you go to new countries! I hope you can visit them all eventually! I went to El Salvador last summer and the only thing tough was the heat, but the people are really friendly and it felt very safe!
Have a "PILSENER Beer" - The National Beer of El Salvador !!!
Thanks a lot, I'll definitely give it a try tonight. Cheers. 🍺
Glad To See More Of El Salvador Gabriel And Welcome Back!
Looking forward to this series

Amazing excited to see where you go next
I’m glad Bukele is tough on gangs. The rest of Latin America can learn from Bukele!
Interesting, looking forward to more great videos!
Totally liked this video. The travel process is the part of any travel.
Whooohooo back on the road!
Really excited for this series, as El Salvador is one of my many stops through Central and South America coming up this year.
First thing I learned, do not buy the beer at the San Francisco airport! :D
All the best Gabriel! Safe travels!
Thank you for the video. I am looking forward to watching from El Salvador.
Never would've guessed El Salvador was next up. This should be interesting.
Hope you have a great time in El Salvador!! At least a beer shouldn't cost you more than $15 there😁
$1.35, that's more like it: th-cam.com/video/brWwlhy0moI/w-d-xo.html
In regards to the SF tap water, I live in a small city outside of Cincinnati, OH. One of the best parts of this city is that it is on top of an aquifer. This city has won 'best water in the world' multiple times. I only drink tap water when I am at home. it is hard to drink tap water in other places because I haven't found anything as good.
Nice! Looking forward to these vids as we are thinking of visiting there
If you guys do head to El Salvador, after Namibia, it'll be cool if you were to meet up with Gabriel
I’m
Sure being back home was nice but you’re a traveling man.. it’s what your all
About. Some New countries some
new experiences( not new camera) time to get back on the horse, (hopefully not a bumpy one) excited to see what you film in El Salvador 🇸🇻. Peace ✌🏻 out bro 😎
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂$4. 32 for. Bottle of water..💦 welcome to the airport! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hello nice to see you again smashing that like 👍
Hi. Gabriel.. Interesting place.. Thanks 👍👍👍
10:24 Gabriel Highroller mode activated😊
Welcome to El Salvador.. .don't forget to check out El palmarsito beach .
. Best beach on earth have fun
Sounds nice, I'll look into it.
Great to see your first video from El Salvador. Stay safe and enjoy. Best regards, Diarmuid
Happy 94th country Gabriel. This is going to be an interesting trip. Looking forward it. Cheers 😊❤️
Yesterday I bought the insta 36 Ace Pro
How do you like it so far? I'm curious to give it a try.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos I used it out of the box just adjusting sharpness to medium and it seemed amazing video image quality outstanding 👍
2:18 Wow man I’m so glad you figured that out before you left the country. These cameras and these different formats and how they interact with all the different types of editing software is a huge headache but I’m glad you got this all worked out.
Nice cam!
Great to see you in Central America!
Sorry ur leaving the usa...wished u stayed more..so glad you added ur trip to San Fran Airport..
Aww yes, El Salvador! Next up on my go to list as well. They've made terrific strides in terms of safety and general tourism rating. From the looks of it, they are where Costa Rica was at 10-15 years ago. Very interesting country; I'll be paying very close attention to this series 😎
I always learn something from your videos. I had no idea the official currency of El Salvador was the US Dollar. Looking forward to the next one!
Amazing 🍺🍺
Super video.
Interesting to see Santa Rosa and you heading down from North to SFO. Then airport. My first time in USA was arriving there on honeymoon almost 30 years ago.
Crazy price for a beer at $13 ??
Fascinating to see you in ElSalvador.
Thanks.
I would never tip for that. Looking forward to the next week or so.
FINALLY THE WAIT ITS OVER
I am a big Fan of ur adventures .. but you were lacking of EL Salvador 😊 for a long long time.
Welcome to my country. 🤙🍺
Enjoy the beach.
After that Ale /Beer the 6 euro 40 cent for a pint of Guinness at Dublin Airport seems cheap .No added sales tax or tip required .
greetings from Kuala Lumpur! glad to see you back on the road again Gabe. we too recently acquired the DJI Action 4 and faced similar problems with its files. after a few days of research and plenty of fiddling around we found the solution: at the settings menu you need to switch the "Video Compression" from "Efficiency (HEVC)" to "Compatibility (H.264)". we do hope you will give the DJI Action 4 a second chance, it's been a peach of a vlogging camera for us ever since ❣
I see, good to know. Maybe I'll give it another try and see if that makes a difference. Did you notice any significant improvement in the video quality compared to the Action 1, or is it about the same?
@@GabrielTravelerVideos there’s a definite improvement in image quality all around, but where the DJI Action 4 stands out is in low-lit environment especially indoors ❣
I was just thinking of a central america adventure. Keep them coming.
Nice see travel agine Gabriel 😊
Congrats on country #94 ! 🎉🎉
Let’s go 😀 (Nice blue shirt at the end of the video)
are you going to try out their Bitcoin payment option?
Lets go Gabriel..Back to travel vlogs. Excited...Greetings from Oman
I could buy a 30 pack up here in Oregon for the same price
Nice man. Be safe. I'll be in Panama in a couple weeks. That $13 beer though 😆 couldn't justify it lol
If it aint broken dont fix it is my philosophy of life
Salvadoreans are such a large influence on the west coast of the USA, on the list for sure!!
It is weird that newer cameras seem to have more problems and gliches! I have similar things with newer model cameras I get. I had the DJI Osmo 3 last year but it sucked so I threw it away.
Yeah this DJI Action 1 has been phenomenal, I never have any problems with it, super user friendly. The only thing is I wish that it performed better in low lighting, but that's just the way it is with all the small action cameras.
$17.50 for a beer! You can get a case of Pilsener beer in El Salvador.
Great video !!!
I noticed there were 2 recent videos - a part one and a part two that were loaded but when I went to go watch them they were gone ? Will they be uploaded again?
Exciting Gabriel 😊❤ can't wait for the videos.
Hi Gabriel, Nice trip decision! this short-term trip gives you another look at a country you have never been to before. You have a good understanding of the language no currency exchange it should be interesting to see.
Our beer it is so good
Keep the beer glass
Nice dude. I love Central America. Cant wait for more videos from El Salvador 🤙🏼🤙🏼 Honduran islands are special if u have time to make it there within the 10-12 days
10:20 Welcome to my city!!! It's one of the reasons I moved to Houston a year and a half ago sir.
$23.60 Canadian for a schooner sized beer eh!? lol 14 minutes in.....( $45 CDN for a 1hr uber?) That cheap flight down is going up fast! lol ...just adding comments as I'm watching...$70 can for that tiny room,. Thnx for the recon work, will have to make adjustments for Central America. As always it's ultimately about the locals u meet. Cheers
You'll love it Gabe I spent three weeks there last year and I'm going back again this year...you don't need to change currency but they might say to you 'un/dos quarter(s)' and you'll get dollar coins 😅 La Libertad/El Tunco are cool if you like surfing and hanging out with other gringos but I preferred the rest of the country.
I remember last time you were in SFO Airport and paid something like $7 for a bottle of Smart Water 😂 I'll be in San Francisco next week (from the UK) and not looking forward to those prices!
$0.35 pupusas? Yes, those prices are much more reasonable 😎
Definitely check out the mountains where the coffee is grown. Taco is a beautiful little town.
Do you mean Ataco?
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Yes, I got auto corrected. There is a cool restaurant/coffee grower/coffee roaster on the Ruta de flors nearby called Entre Nubes. They do a tour and tasting of the coffee and have a nice lunch menu.
Great, sounds good.
Now that is one irresistible thumbnail.😀😀
Cheers. 🍺
Regarding the Action 4 it by default safes the files in the format HEVC. But you can change it in the settings to H.264 which requires less power in the computer/editing software.
Good to know, I might give it another try at some point.
accomodation in El Salvador feels very expensive, but food and beer are dirt cheap
The airport at the most expensive place on earth. And you buy a beer? Travel tip?
