I love this movie, it was so good. Here are Halloween season movie recommendations: The Skeleton Key, Trick' Treat, The Craft(1996), Brightburn, Rosemary's Baby(1968) and Silent Hill.
I think if you blow the candle before removing the hand, the spirit is trapped in you. If the candle is the door, and the spirit is inside us... wouldnt closing that door just keep it in? So you have to remove the hand first then the canle
From my point of view the spirits were clever! They were pushing her to kill riley to end his suffering which was a lie, ducketts brother said it will weaken on its own but the spirits knew that so they tried to manipulate them both with what riley and mia knew about each other.
I like the subtle clues in the film that they mention the girl’s boyfriend is a Christian and all the spirits hate him and mess with him during the film, which is a clue the spirits were really demons from hell. She didn’t sacrifice herself, the sister saved her brother in time before Mia could kill both of them and the demons get both souls.
She did not scrafice herself if she is still alive she killed her best friend to save her brother couple be self defence in terms of saving her brother
Its weird when you see a horror movie like this where it's super full on and also adds a weird layer of realism when its in your own accent. When horror movies image in an American accent I can add some distance but this one was...a lot.
The fake Mia dad had White eyes that is how you could tell it was not the real one and it showed he was in the living room when she thought her dad was banging the door

A couple of TH-camrs made this on a $4 million dollar budget and it made $70 million dollars at the box office.

Honestly those 2 and I would also say Evil Dead Rise where the best horror movies of this year, Insidious was very mid, and The Nun 2 was ass!!!
