As a new player and this being my first Halloween event in Ark I was thrilled to see it not bring locked behind Club Ark and I appreciate the well in-depth video Bey!

I like the way they do the mods for the events because in SP we get more control over what we want. I still have summer bash running and I'm not locked to a time window... we won't talk about how we got snow last week in RL lol
@@Jessepigman69 The problem with that though was a lot of the more "gameplay impacting" events had all their special content removed from the game files with the update that would officially end said event's ruin. So activating Winter Wonderland wouldn't give you Raptor-Clause or Gacha-Clause, none of the Fear Evolved resources or the Dodobros would spawn when that event was activated, etcetera.
Great Video and Thank you. Took me a good while to copy all the codes down onto my desktop but now its easier to get to them when i am playing and to need to spawn something in one of my many games.

The best part of holiday events is that once we get a proper Easter Event mod, you can just activate all the holiday mods at the same time and go crazy with it.

Like instead of having Fear Evolved for a week, you could have the event begin on Oct. 1st and end on Oct. 31st. Or you can also do a holiday bash where for a week, you can do back to back holiday events so like Love Evolved day 1, Easter day 2, Summer bash day 3, etc.

Nope, not from my experience, i tested it in Single Player, had the mod installed, claimed a zombie wyvern, left game, uninstalled the mod and rejoined and the wyvern was still sat infront of me where I logged out :)
They shouldn't. The zombie creatures should be part of the base game the mod is just required to make them spawn naturally if it works the same was as skins from previous events.
@@apurrfectnobody7309 exactly. The mods only purpose is making the features spawn naturally in game and craft able by default. Everything like the creatures and items themselves is in the game already. In fact you could actually spawn the ghost variants of creatures a couple weeks ago before fear was even announced with the sdf command.

I'm having the exact same issue on unofficial. None of the maps on the cluster have literally any of this and it's installed on the servers. I do get the fear evolved logo but that's literally it. Been looking for ~4h and nothing. I asked other server members and they haven't seen anything either

I’ve been playing the event since it was downloadable on single player. I’ve only been able to find 2-3 Ghost rexes. The tombstones and pumpkins spawn frequently but seem not to be able to get any skeleton creature variants. I’ve been playing for a couple of in-game days and still no prompt of the Dodorex as well. Done a Dino wipe, uninstalled, and reinstalled the mod. Is there any workaround or suggestions to get these spawns regulated on the island map?
I must admit it almost sounds like the event is working as intended for you XD...I've had a lot of people say they can't even find anything. I wouldn't worry about reinstalling, pretty sure Wildcard have just released a very buggy event, The DodoRex has been spawning fine for me, every 3 nights i'll see the 'DodoRex is Here' prompt...hope you've had some better luck since?
It depends, for me it's been inconsistent, sometimes they will spawn as intended, which is almost instantly after you pick one up (like in the clip in the video) then other times I can't find one spawning in like 10-15 mins, which I've gathered has been happening to a lot of people. I'm pretty sure they have released the event as a bit of a buggy mess :( hoping for some fixes today or soon because it only lasts less than 2 weeks!

Nah you should be able to keep most of the items, I'm not sure on how skins work but you can definitely keep the Zombie Dodos and Wyverns! I'll try testing abit, see if I remove the mod and what do i keep.
Do you by chance know how to get new emotes, also I can confirm the spooky piles are NOT spawning out in the sand dunes of Scorched. Sat out there 2 full game days and nights. Never got any to spawn around me. Shame, I thought it might be easier to farm them there. Should have been.

Yeah the one I showed in the video was a level 10 if I remember correctly so that is probably the minimum it spawns with, had one with 2 million health also XD
It was originally meant to be tied behind club ARK and they weren't adding the Dodorex or Dodo Wyvern, but they received so much hate for doing so and they changed it back to how it should be XD
They will just spawn alongside their vanilla counterparts, so looking for a Rex try Lava Island...Trikes, Brontos and Stegos spawn in jungles and Trikes on beaches a lot, Blue ob is a good place as all 3 of those can potentially spawn there. This event has been inconsistent from my experience though, worked great for me on my rented Nitrado server. It's a little meh in Single Player, spawns are always bad in SP. And a lot of others haven't seen anything on official or unofficial servers, hoping that would have been fixed by now! I guess they rushed it out so quick that they messed some things up no doubt :(

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong I downloaded the mod I'm playing on my private single player maps when I go to the smithy to make the stuff it seemed to work for the skins but when I crafted the scarecrow pumpkin and tombstone to decorate my base they seem to just disappear I can't find where they went also I waited the three days to fight the dodorex and never got the prompt for it and can seem to find a single skeleton or ghost dino also my drops don't look like candy corn or have any event items in them anyone have any answers?
Yeah those items are disappearing for me too, I can only imaging that is a bug so I hope they fix that soon cause I love placing all those items around my base :(. Have you tried a few dino wipes? Try using a dino finder also if possible? Also are you playing a server or Single Player? I must admit the Single Player wild spawns for events like these suck so bad, everything spawns as intended on my server! I don't think they included the halloween drops this time, they rushed it all i'm pretty sure as it wasn't even coming to the base game originally as they were sticking it behind club ARK :(...you can craft dino candy's in the smithy though for like 5 dino bones!

Any luck with that yet? I noticed some inconsistencies myself, sometimes they will spawn a lot then I won't see any for like 20 mins straight. It could be a little buggy which i wouldn't be surprised, they do like releasing things buggy a lot of the time, I'm hoping for a few fixes already!
I will admit 2 of the codes did that for me and I could not figure out why or find a code for them. 95% of them should work though, which codes did not work for you may I ask?
May I ask what isn't working? Do you have a holiday tab in the smithy at least? I must say it's been a very inconsistent event for me too, very buggy, sometimes things work great and other times I'm searching for ages. Crafting items in the smithy then having them disappear is always fun!! Wildcard just love to release things broken and it's very frustrating sometimes...some people seem to have less problems and then others are saying the event doesn't work so that's not good :( fingers crossed these issues get fixed in the next few days.
It's so weird, I'm seeing a lot of people saying they aren't seeing anything and then others saying it work fine (minus some things) either way I think they have released the event with way too many problems! It definitely took me much longer than I would have liked to finish this video due to things not running consistent, i'm really hoping that they fix these issues today or at least before the weekend!!
@BEYPlaysGames it's my server. I did a dino wipe. Restarted so many times. I get the message that the dodorex has spawned and have seen ghost animals, but no pumpkin patch, scarecrow, or gravestones!!

Yeah I don't understand how they always release broken things. I'm not a fan of the pay 2 win creature, i'm forgetting it exists right now, Would have been cool as some sort of free event creature for Fear Ascended but it just doesn't fit well in the game and it costs money😭😭

You could just "activate event" in your single-player settings in the old game. Mod makes it more accessible for everyone though

I did the same. I was running around seeing love bugs instead of gravestones. I was like WTF - completely different vibe than what I wanted.
Haven't seen one skeletal dino or pop ups when idling around... fun event...
in ase you could not keep the zomdodos as there was a "memory issue" with keeping them or something after the event

Only during the event I believe if playing official but you can craft them whenever if playing SP and unofficial if you have the mod installed
It was a big letdown for my server as it kept shutting down and no dodo wyvern spawning in the x2 x3 ect was sll over the place

In my smithy there Is no forlder for event stuff
Is the mod definitely installed? usually when that happens it means it's not activated on the server or your game :o

The Zombie dDodos And Wyverns definitely stay once the event is over, i'd have to test with the skins and structures though!

Probably just Wildcard rushing it to get it out with a last minute decision, I hope they fix some of these bugs tomorrow!

Nevermind they just released an update saying that they should now be craftable in a smithy! I can't see them yet but maybe my game isn't updated XD

DodoWyvern health depends on level it spawns at.
Yep, I think the one I had in the video was only a level 10, seen a level 90 with 1.9 million health so it might even go up to 3 million XD

It's at the end of the video in the montage, it's just a skin that can be placed onto the Plant Species X, nothing else :)

The skeletal dinos have a 5% chance to spawn, like alphas, and there are no candy corn drops anymore.
Yeah those items are disappearing for me too, I can only imaging that is a bug so I hope they fix that soon cause I love placing all those items around my base :(. Have you tried a few dino wipes? Try using a dino finder also if possible? Also are you playing a server or Single Player? I must admit the Single Player wild spawns for events like these suck so bad, everything spawns as intended on my server! I don't think they included the halloween drops this time, they rushed it all i'm pretty sure as it wasn't even coming to the base game originally as they were sticking it behind club ARK :(...you can craft dino candy's in the smithy though for like 5 dino bones!
Will this mod work on Mod maps?
I believe it should, haven't tried personally as I'm not currently playing any mod maps, I'll have to try it and let you know

The tames will stay! Not sure about skins but I tested it with a Zombie Wyvern, had one tamed, removed the mod, re-joined game and it was still there!

Any luck with that yet? I noticed some inconsistencies myself, sometimes they will spawn a lot then I won't see any for like 20 mins straight. It could be a little buggy which i wouldn't be surprised, they do like releasing things buggy a lot of the time, I'm hoping for a few fixes already!

Commands just say "not allowed to spawn on this map" even though I'm on the center and have the fear ascended mod installed, anyone have any ideas?
I will admit 2 of the codes did that for me and I could not figure out why or find a code for them. 95% of them should work though, which codes did not work for you may I ask?

Yeah, literally none of this is working for me. I've been looking on unofficial with the mod installed (the server and I both have it) for ~4h
May I ask what isn't working? Do you have a holiday tab in the smithy at least? I must say it's been a very inconsistent event for me too, very buggy, sometimes things work great and other times I'm searching for ages. Crafting items in the smithy then having them disappear is always fun!! Wildcard just love to release things broken and it's very frustrating sometimes...some people seem to have less problems and then others are saying the event doesn't work so that's not good :( fingers crossed these issues get fixed in the next few days.

It's so weird, I'm seeing a lot of people saying they aren't seeing anything and then others saying it work fine (minus some things) either way I think they have released the event with way too many problems! It definitely took me much longer than I would have liked to finish this video due to things not running consistent, i'm really hoping that they fix these issues today or at least before the weekend!!

@BEYPlaysGames it's my server. I did a dino wipe. Restarted so many times. I get the message that the dodorex has spawned and have seen ghost animals, but no pumpkin patch, scarecrow, or gravestones!!
@@catherines7553 damn that is so weird! I recorded this video with my Nitrado server and almost ran into no issues :( I'm sorry I can't be any more help! I have pinned a comment to the video in hopes that Wildcard do some fixes and will update that comment with anything new regarding the event!
Made the pumpkin and it hasn't shown up in any inventory.
Yeah i'm not sure what's going on with that, I crafted the Scarecrow, Pumpkin and Gravestone and everything disappears, I guess they haven't fixed that yet :(

Restarting seemed to fix the issue.
Wildcard is a joke, 3 patches this morning and it's still broken. Pay to win crap, just a complete waste of a game.
Yeah I don't understand how they always release broken things. I'm not a fan of the pay 2 win creature, i'm forgetting it exists right now, Would have been cool as some sort of free event creature for Fear Ascended but it just doesn't fit well in the game and it costs money😭😭
