Fantastic interview of a beautifully self-centered gentle genius. Irresistible. Magic.

For a guy who didn't care to be interviewed, this turned out to be a fascinating interview. I have read much about him...saw him on three occasions...attended a recording session of his...have been a fan since about age 14 (the year he ascended to the podium of the NIP), but still found out things about him in this interview that I had not known before. The most comprehensive video biography is "Reaching for the Note" produced by PBS, but even that was not as rich in personal information as this interview. It's a treasure....

Thank you for sharing. It is a wonderful and serene testimony of an extraordinary life in music. God bless you, Leonard Bernstein, even post-mortem. May your music, your teaching and your deeply human and loving touch live and inspire future generations.

Leonard Bernstein was the epitome of the transformation of all elements of musical composition. Understandably, a mind of genius, humility, many years of training with experience that embraces what words cannot explain.
A reverence revealed in the unknown paradise beyond time.
The artistry of Leonard Bernstein will be handed down for all to listen and learn.
With the deepest appreciation and admiration for man's life well lived. 🙏 ❤

Vraiment dommage que l'on ne sache pas qui interviewe Leonard Bernstein et que ce ne soit qu'un simple enregistrement et non une vidéo. De plus, la traduction des commentaires est déplorable. C'est très regrettable.
