I always look forward to your videos and really enjoy the content. The paintings from the 'bins' I think are beautiful. You give me lots of ideas and inspiration. Thankyou from across the pond.x
Smiles all around, my bff Tanya posted today!! I'm swooning over that antique shoe cart!!! I'm absolutely in love with that!!! It could be in Terrain or Restoration Hardware!! The restaurant dishes look perfect on it and what a great find too! I also love the amateur paintings, the sap bucket and those gorgeous amber bottles! Love it all!!! You have such a great eye Tanya! So nice to go along with you today! Thanks for taking us!
Hi Kris! I have wanted one of those shoe racks for at least a couple of years! It was so worth it to go ahead and get it. As much as I change things up, it’s a forever keeper! Ha! Thanks so much for watching. I feel like we’re friends also! Such a fun community here! 🥰
@@FreeRangeCottage I have never seen one of those before but now that I have, I will be on the lookout for one! Yes! Certain pieces are forever favorites and that's how you KNOW it was a good purchase!
Hi Tanya. Good to see your notification today. I like the wooden shelving. Great find. My idea for the stools is keep them white. It's a smallish kitchen and with the afore mentioned wood shelf quite close, think it would be visually, too much. Perhaps some soft gray cushions for them? Cheers!
So glad to see you rescued the star quilt. As a quilter it saddens me to think that when I'm gone my work will end up in a bin! Good luck with the restoration. If you have problems look for your local Guild and they may be able to do it for you.
I love everything you showed and I'm going to start pairing down by using your example and not being so attached to things so you can have more variety in life
Yes Joyce. It’s a funny thing that even though I’ve recently showed a lot of “stuff”, I’m constantly in the decluttering mode! Many things go for sale on Etsy or Marketplace locally! I haven’t regretted getting rid of anything! 🌻🌻🌻
I love ironstone, the huge 2nd platter is my favorite. I use my ironstone platters for many things - in the bathrooms I use them to corral my stuff by the sink such as hand soap, hand lotion and toothbrushes. I use as trays under houseplants. I use them by the kitchen sink, to hold my hand soap and dish soap. The larger platters I use as serving trays. I have seen people put them on the wall too.
Arizona Highways was a magazine published either quarterly, or bimonthly. My family subscribed to it during the 70s and 80s, if I remember correctly. It came from Arizona, obviously. Maybe published by the state. Beautiful magazine.
It took me all day to finish your video so much coming up, but I love everything. I’ve go to go to the bins. There is one down by the first Friday west bottom.
I’ve never watched your videos before, but they were in my recommended and I wasn’t sure about the long video, but I’m so glad that I clicked! It was fun all the way through 😊
Love this video and your haul! I saw the wooden crate and sap buckets toward the beginning and hoped you would snap those up. Really like that stoplight painting a lot!! The large wood pillars (? Not sure what to call them) are so cool and I could see gigantic candles on top or plants with the foliage draping down:-) I told myself I’d run errands and do chores before treating myself to your video, but I couldn’t wait 😂
Kathy I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Errands and chores can wait, right? 🤣😂 I don’t find a lot of art that makes me have an emotional response, but that stoplight painting does for some reason. It’s just moody, and beautiful! 💕Hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!
OMG!! Once again you found such great things! I am so jealous of the boot/cobbler cart for your hall. That is exactly what I have been searching for, but again...don't want to pay a mortgage to own. As always, on point. Love, love, love everything. So inspired to get out this weekend and do some picking. :) Shhh...don't tell my husband.
Thanks Lucinda! Sometimes I have tine to look things up, but often I don’t. I usually just buy what I love.😉 Thanks so much for the info.and for stopping by today! 🌻🌻🌻
Love, love, love watching your videos and everything you score at flea markets, antique stores, goodwills and more. Your style is amazing so it's no wonder that your house is absolutely stunning!!!
I love your videos and have found a lot of your choices are my choices as well. One thing I noticed that I love are your window blinds! Where did you buy these? I am looking for them for my home and cannot find ones I really like, but I love yours. I would love to know and will look forward to seeing more of your videos....
Hi Sharon. We found these blinds at Lowe’s many years ago. Unfortunately, they have discontinued them. But we do love them because they are lined, so you can’t see through them. Hopefully you can find something similar.
Always love your videos. I have a shoe rack like yours except it's bigger. I don't have a spot for it now but will probably wind up using it in my laundry room when it's finished. I only paid $50 for mine on marketplace. I was so lucky!. Also, I think your lamp could possibly have been made from an old lightening rod.
Once again loving your video. Wondering what state you're living in just because I never come across books that are that old. I've only come across books that are probably like from the '40s and older or sooner I should say. It looks like you always come across really cool items and things that you never find so I was just wondering what state you were located in? Thanks again Nicki from Arizona
I love the woven (?) blinds in your kitchen area shown at the beginning of the video. Not sure if you've addressed these before but am really interested in where you purchased these if you're willing to share.
You’re panning too quickly. The camera cannot focus as quickly as the human eye. Thank you. I don’t thrift because it’s mostly junk in my neck of the woods. I don’t need a thing. I’m giving things away. A DOG OF FLANDERS is a very old novel. It is a story of struggle with a very sad ending. The yellow tablecloth is beautiful. I’d put it on my bed.
