Worship song turns into a pop rock song it does'nt represent God at all. I do not feel the holy spirit with this kind of music.
It’s a good thing that worship isn’t about what YOU feel and whether you like it or not. I challenge you to search your heart and the word for what worship really is. We’re commanded to worship with instruments and voices. Just because your ear isn’t pleased doesn’t mean that the Fathers ear isn’t. Whether you shred the guitar or clap your hands off beat, it’s still pleasing worship to the Lord regardless of how you feel. Don’t make worship about you and how you feel during worship. That’s dangerous ground, brother.
@@HeritageAndPine when we believe and were saved by the Lord we received the holy spirit and we were regenerated . The Holy spirit is our sense just like our nose that we use for smelling and tongue for tasting. The Spirit sense which is for God and not for the enjoyment of our soul. If we are speaking in our opinion and not in our spirit then thats not pleasing to God same in worshipping Him. Because we are in our flesh not in our spirit . To understand heavenly things we use our spirit not our soul. If these small things we can not distinguish which is for spirit and not .Then we have to pray harder that our Lord may have mercy upon us because our spirit is still weak. Just like our nose who cannot smell, tongue that cannot taste or eyes that cannot see.
@@chefdoodsmanalo367 I don’t have a misunderstanding of who Holy Spirit is and what the purpose was for Holy Spirit to come. Holy Spirit is not a gauge for deciding whether something is worship or not.
The simple truth is that you cannot decide for God what is and isn’t worship for him. The expression of reverence and adoration to God is the definition of worship. If you apply that definition to anything, including writing a song that is full of guitar riffs, and you are doing it as an expression of reverence to God, it is plain and simple worship and pleasing to the Lord. Your original comment stated that “it doesn’t represent God at all” which is completely wrong. It most certainly does represent God because the gift of being able to play an instrument well is being used to express his adoration for God.
