I see a lot of people talking about how they would face the society if they don't clear the exam. I know what it takes to push yourself to the limit, preparing for something that is mostly thankless because only a handful get through. I just want everyone to to remember that there is a life outside and after UPSC. If you don't clear the exam or you give up midway, it is OKAY. It is OKAY to be scared, it is OKAY to feel shitty. But you WILL find your calling in life. Take it from a guy who wrote 6 attempts and didn't make it. I landed at a top US university a year later and I started a new life in a new country. It WILL work out in the end. Giving up on the exam is OKAY. Giving up on yourself is NOT. None of you are failures: your knowledge will stay with you. It takes guts and sacrifices to do what you are doing. So keep your chin up, my brothers and sisters! Amen.

I come here to bring out the fire in me again and again. This theme song always fires me up and then I remember what I've lost and why I was preparing for the exam and knowing it will be my last attempt this time I get extra boost. Sometimes when you're at your 30's you lose focus and then you need a drive to keep on going and although there are hundreds of motivational videos, for some reason this music makes me keep going.

It took me 3 years to finally watch this series jab release hui thee tab main prepration kar raha tha tab himmat hi nahi thee ki iss dekh saku kud ke failure se itna dukhi tha socha tha life main sab khatam ho gaya isi liye plan B ka hona bhaut important hai iss saal finally IBPS PO clear hua to ab lag raha hai ki life main aage bade paunga nahi to UPSC ne to life ko wahi rok diya tha. Listening to this it feels as if I have become empty from inside. Those three years which I gave to UPSC, from the streets of Delhi to the hostel, everything comes before my eyes. I am doing MBBS and have no plans of doing UPSC, it was during the 2nd wave lockdown that I watched this series ( we all did ). Some of my school friends are preparing for upsc and other such exams and it was during the 2nd wave that we all had returned to our small town in Bihar. We used to go for snacks and chai on the mountains, my town is in a hilly area and played cricket at 5 in the morning. Every time I hear this tune, it reminds me of my school friends, my small town( my dreamland) , and all the other good things we did.
