Not really. From a plane you can see there's a lot of forest everywhere.

@@trustinsynchronicity True, but very few of those forests are old growth. They're largely immature forests that have been re-planted by commercial loggers, usually with only a single type of tree and far too dense for the development of a healthy understory. It's certainly still better than being paved down entirely, but they only provide a small fraction of the ecological diversity and environmental benefits that old growth forests provide.
