Lizzie has always been my favorite. Everyone ALWAYS expects the worst from her, even when she's at her best and actively trying to do better. I don't blame her for being bitchy sometimes. If everyone hated or feared you for years, for things that aren't always your fault, wouldn't you get bitter? She's got so much hurt inside. I'm glad to see her growing as the show goes on.
I agree, it's perfectly reasonable. However, no one hated or feared lizzie at first. Her own sister tricked her into believing that and lizzie was so hurt that she ended up making that belief a reality. Even after finding out about the manipulation, lizzie still cares for josie, which is one of the things I like most about her.

Lizzie has her own flaws, and so does Josie, They just have different flaws of their own, so I don't think it's fair to accuse Josie, or we're no better than the ones dissing Lizzie. Lizzie has always been my favorite, so I will always favor her unconditionally, but seeing Josies' flaws doesn't make me hate her. So far the only one I HATE is Alyssa Chen, I cannot find ANY reason to like her so far, not even a little bit. If I were to rank my favorite characters into a pyramid, Kaleb would be at the top of the pyramid since he's my second favorite, and Lizzie would be the sun above the pyramid.

In my opinion, Josie is a terrible sister. Most siblings call you out on your crap and they defend you and help you. Josie let Lizzie be in the front so that everyone could hate her and she could just hide in her shadow. I didn't like her much in the first season because I think that she reminded me a lot of me when I used to also struggle with mental health but she is kind of my favourite now I love her development and the way that she is fighting to get better really speaks to me :( I love her
