A person just tried to combine the civil ensign and the Hungarian flag without Austria's, Which lacked Austria's representation by its black and yellow banner. The civil ensign is SO used online it's everywhere, from merch products to TH-cam video thumbnails, the maritime flag was used for too much, the current rendition of the page removed the flag. but later a person decided to combine the civil ensign and the national flags, it later was changed, people even used with without saying that it was not official, it's still used in Sync's WW1 flag animation but I asked him to say it was not official and he later said it was not official, this problem also affected the Confederation of the Rhine's Wikipedia page. the incorrect flag was uninterrupted for 5 years, this problem even affects the Vatican city. a current-existing state, it was better in the fact that the difference was minor, but worse in that it affects a current existing state instead of a historical entity, the tiara was actually the incorrect thing of the flag, It was supposed to be white on its hole, but a user managed to change the hole colour from white to red which makes sense as it should match, but the government actually confirmed it was a white hole, not a red one, with the change being unnoticed until December 28, which fixed it and changed the hole from red to white, In short, People were SOOO affected to seeing the civil ensign of Austria-Hungary It's used like everywhere. Kingdom of croatia slavonia was not rulled by hungary but it was its own state. It shared same parlament of lands of saint stephan for foregin politics even tho croatia and hungary had their own parlaments for inside politics.
Another flag I would like to mention is the empire of japan flag, though not as obscure, people still think it’s military flag was its actual flag when it’s the same as modern day
I prefer the unoficial civil ensingn of this minute 0:03 but i want this resolved in use this unoficial flag i mean austriahungary not have flag but we can use this unoficial civil ensing or civil fleet
